If MAX. (period) pops out to Arcade, the name of the game should be DDR THE FINAL.

It can't come in the same game as DeltaMax, so they'll wait until DDR ?(Next Mix) and put it there since it's barely a 16 so there are harder songs now that can put it's speed and difficulty to shame!

ON TOPIC: I've heard "watch your step" at the slow section of Valkyrie dimension... It's totally makes me scary for this chart... u.u

Well to me, it'd be better saying watch your step everywhere in the song, it seems hard, I can't wait to play it(and of course fail it)!

To me I thought the vocals said "slow (it) down" right before the slow section. Can't wait until we get a clearer recording for this song.

BTW, I just thought of something, the Master List from DDRX2 CS(US of course) mentionned songs like New Generation and Saber Wing(Satellite Silhouette Remix), do you think we'll see those as unlocks? I'd love more Tag, his songs are great(and yes I include Mitsuru in that). Fingers crossed...

honestly, why does Max. (period) have to appear in the final DDR mix? Extreme certainly wasn't the final DDR and I doubt it was intended to be (maybe the final one of that generation). They should just port it over already.

So it'll be the big DDR Apocalypse when Max. (period) finally makes it to the arcades then?

I played for a little while today. To be honest I was a little disappointed with the main reasons being the overall layout/theme and unlocking system. Probably the unlocking system is by far the most annoying and tedious system ever implemented not to mention the annoyance of getting an extra or encore stage.

I'll stop now with that little rant cause I don't want to mislead you guys. Overall it seems to be a better game than X1 with the exceptions of the above mentioned. (also I think there might be something wrong with the monitor I play on cause the screen seems to constantly flicker)

Well I don't really have any new info that hasn't already be said and I only took one video about my first round setting up the e-amuse and scrolling through the default songs on X2. It will be up sometime later.

My favorite part of today was the first 2 PFCs I got on the game. 1st 2nd. I only find that so funny cause I played like 3 sets of new easy songs and I couldnt get any. Also LOL at that being my first pass on Kimono Princess.

Extreme was always meant to be the last original DDR game. The very first thing they announced about Extreme was that it would be the final game, and that the game's main theme would be "Graduation" - celebrating the end of DDR, and the new beginnings that would arise from it. The OMES (~Fin~ / DanceDanceRevolution) sort of cemented that point home. There were 4 years between Extreme and SuperNOVA, and SuperNOVA was intended as a successor to EuroMIX 2, not an investment in rebooting the entire series.

I don't see why they don't port it, though. Any symboslism it may have had has obviously been completely lost on the fanbase. It's just a uniquely weird song now, with some weird samples in it.

Spriggan are apparently Cornish.

Sadly there was no 'ooh-arr, ooh-arr' singing in there. :<
