Am I the only one who thinks Sumidagawa Karenka Challenge should be a 16 footer?

Those jumps are basically practice for FELM Challenge

It's not that hard, really...if you can't do this step-jump-step-jump pattern, odds are that you are doing it wrong. Honestly, the only thing that makes FELM challenge tough is that the ending jumps follow no pattern at all, they aren't even close to how well thought-out Sumidagawa Karenka's jumps are. Also this song is 20 bpm slower than that, doesn't sounds like a lot but it really makes a difference. It's a solid 15 and yes it's definitely harder than Chronos Challenge or Nephilim Delta (which should be a 14 IMO)

Wow, am I the only one who thinks this is one of the worse unlocking systems? Doesn't konami know that lots of people have jobs or school and simply can't make it 5 consecutive days in a row? It'd be fine if the days didn't have to be consecutive, but wow, this is a bit ridiculous...
I can agree to this. Im just hoping if/when X3 migrates to the US we wont have to go through this whole daily star unlocks.

Haven't you heard? It's not coming...ever.
Oh I thought there was a slight chance we would see it but I didnt hear that it was confirmed that X3 wouldnt make it to the US. Well thanks for the update

Well, here's the thing. It's not only the step jumps. The 16th notes steps are also almost everywhere as well as the step jumps, and that will tire an average person out overtime, unlike other "solid" 15 footers (Max 300, Kimono Princess, Xepher, Zeta, among about 10 others).

Let's put it this way. Maxx Unlimited Heavy, on the bounce Challenge and FELM Heavy, I'm so happy Challenge ain't that different. Do I think it's as hard as Paranoia Survivor Max Challenge? I still think that's a beast of a song, but I'm digressing.

And in case anyone forgot the news, Maxx Unlimited Heavy is now a 16 footer.

I think a 15 is a fine rating but it is leaning on a 16. I also agree it's quite similar to FELM Challenge which makes me really happy, its good practice.

Btw, what will happen to me when I get my first set of 5 daily stars? Will I get the first unlock or the newest unlock? In other words, would I have to literally play 15 days in a row to just get the newest unlock!

Actually, I think you only need to do it in chunks: for example, play for 5 days in a row, get TWINKLE♡HEART Challenge. Miss a few days, no problem. Play 5 more days in a row, get アルストロメリア (walk with you remix) Challenge. Miss some days, play 5 more consecutively, get 隅田川夏恋歌 Challenge.

At least, that's my understanding of it. Seems more reasonable than a 15 day marathon, definitely.

Well, konami is far from being reasonable with ddr games.

Also what i can say about this chart... is that the jump are a lot harder once tried on foot. Everytime i see a chart that i find okay/hard on fingers, i missjudge it and i found it a lot harder on foot.

But, the jump paterns aren't riduculous. For the jump - step - jump - step... (repeat) part, the paterns are easy.
In felm, they just makes no sence and are 20 bpm faster.
In Unreal, same bpm but you have crazy crossovers sometimes.

Atm, with the new charts, we have... 3 or 4 new 15' charts and nothing above right ?

I understand that they probably are in chunks, but thats besides the point. But my real question is is the best case scenario to get that song, I would literally have to play 15 straight days. Correct?

As said before, I think this is the worst unlocking system I've ever seen.

notify us on how extra stage works on e-amuse disabled DDR X3. about those star thingy hehe do you really need to AAA all songs?

Okay, I just got back.

2ndMIX MODE works fine.
The star system works just like in eAmuse enabled machine. The only difference is that stars do not carry on through credits.
Oh, and I forgot to take a pic of the main screen (one with the machine number, or whatever that is)
Entering machine highscore is possible, but the record for a song isn't shown. I have no idea how.

Since it's not updated (only machines connected to eAmuse get constant updates, IIRC), yes, they disappear occasionally and still small.
