hello was reminiscing here and figured i may as well post something before i finish lurking. its crazy to see all these names i remember even after all this time. hope everybody has been well

I've been replaying Extreme JP on the PS2 since I got new memory cards and I can't unlock Max Period no matter how hard I try. I can't for the life of me remember how I unlocked it 10 years ago when I was 17, but I just can't do it anymore. Maybe it's my age catching up to me. I can't read the fast part at all anymore. I also started to use slower speed mods for songs I used to play on x3 and can't play on Reverse as well as I used to. It took a good while to unlock The Legend of Max, so this seems like a battle I just can't win.

I'll probably have to resort to using the system memory support method since I have a copy of Party Collection, but I'll wait until I've unlocked everything else before I do so.

I have only started to get back into playing console games back in June, so I hope it's me being rusty and not my age. If it is, it makes me sad that my abilities are waning due to forces outside my control.
