Anyway, I'm hoping for some Club Mix songs as DLC.

Some people and I were talking through the stream chatbox and we decided we wanted Dj Nagureo, Quadra and Slake. Big Grin

I'm all for this. The American DDR versions barely have had any songs from CLUB MIX. The closest we got to that was KONAMIX, since it had about 5 songs from CLUB MIX. If they do include CLUB MIX songs as DLC, I think that they should re-do all of the stepcharts for any of the songs that they choose to include in this game, because they had some pretty awkward step patterns, mainly because stepcharts weren't always thought out very well back then.
The awkwardness is part of what I like about them. They're unusual, which is what makes them unique, if that makes sense. Some of the charts are really fun, I loved Patsenner because I actually felt like I was "in the groove of things" while playing.

Maybe add oni charts to some of them? Big Grin I know Patsenner deserves one definitely, not sure about some others though.

And by the way, DDRMAX US had more Club Mix songs. It had six I believe (5.1.1., Rugged Ash, Celebrate, Deep In You, 22dunk, Gambol)

ultramix had luv 2 me *disco mix* (which was simly luv 2 me on club version). but the point stands, a song here and there doesnt make up for the lack of representation this game gets. since the club version songs ended up removed from SN2 onward though (looking through the X2 song list all i see is genom screams), i doubt we will see them as DLC.

The Move mode is pretty hard to get used to at first, I had to play a couple rounds of Difficult just to get the feel. The response from the controller is EXCELLENT, however I noticed there were bad timing issues with a few of the songs (Animal began to drift late in the beginning, then early, then WAY early...almost an 8th note off, then slowly drifted back to normal). I'm pretty sure they'll get this fixed up before the final release, but it was something of notice. Other than that, it was really fun!!

Hmm, looks pretty interesting, but there's a lot more going on, on screen than usual. It probably wasn't that hard to keep focus of the arrows while playing, but it looked crowded to watch.
Also I really wanna see the chart to Bad Romance hehe. it's a catchy song..

Two questions

Did we find out a release date?

Are there still dancing characters or are we getting just silouettes?

We better get dancing characters. And not just the humans, but hopefully PiX, Zukin, and Consent.

It also looks like they brought back the old scale foot ratings.

Good spot with the old style ratings. Also, Battlefield at 145bpm? Really?

Yeah, it feels strange to me too, I guess it'll feel better once we see the stepchart and how it flows.

Yes it would be this is because the bpm would only be 70 something and the multiply beats in the song are pretty fast

I see what you mean but I think it is because there are so many slow songs on the game, Konami had to double battlefields BPM. That's my theory.

Though to me In Love Wit You doesn't sound like something that should've been in DDR in the first place...

My Love, bag, Ballad For You, be in my paradise, I'll Make Love To You.

Really having too many isn't the problem? And giving licences slow BPM isn't a problem because we've had an 84, 86 and an 87 before.

Holy crap, a well known song that's an 8 on MY recent DDR game? That's really surprising and encouraging me that the licenses here might not get butchered difficulty-wise.

I had to watch the video again, they did drop back to the 1-10 rating system. I'm very confused.

And again I know what your saying but sometimes, almost all the time the 84, 86 and an 87 are to easy. I think Konami are trying to mix things up a bit.

Low BPM != easier.

In fact, speeding it to 145 will probably make it easier, which in my eyes is Konami wussing out a bit.

So did anyone see ever snow in the trailer? It's at the part where they are scrolling screenshots across the video. It's blue.
