Let It Out

I've been a lurker for years at this point. Discord and Twitter (i'm not calling it X) are just much faster.

I still check here daily. I know there's other places on the internet for rhythm games, but this is the only forum I've ever been a part of. I do occasionally check the DDR Facebook group, and I only use Discord with people I'm close with IRL. I find it hard to commit to other websites/apps.

I fully expect this to get ignored but I need your help because I have to somehow get $1.2k to my landlords in less than 5 days or else I face eviction. Landlords aren't playing nice with me at all here and are trying to ignore that they cashed a check I gave them after the initial warning and proceeded to bump up the amount owed instead. Gonna try to give them a call tomorrow but I fully expect a headache.

This site gives me so many awesome nostalgic vibes, I love just browsing it honestly. It brings back good memories of fun and amazing times for me, especially in regards to DDR and other arcade games . It's just what I need with tough times in my life.

This seems like the appropriate time and place to "let out" the fact that I'm dealing with some acute and unprecedented anxiety over the fact that private interest groups have been aggressively funding development in technology that aims to replace innumerable skill sets in the workforce and particularly the entertainment industry while marketing and mythologizing it as artificial intelligence with the only conceivable placation towards the public being the public accessibility of said technology and the inevitable escalation of peril in the computer networks upon which our lives have grown so dependent.

Yes it definitely helps! It sure can be, I would definitely like to share I could either share some of my experiences and memories on here in a post or send you a PM whatever you'd prefer. Although I will say that not 100% of my experiences were positive, but they were all still memorable and part of the nostalgia ofc. I love sharing stories about past experiences. I can think of a few questions or topics I could mention as well. And some thoughts I've had!
