@Catastrophe The game is working perfectly fine on my end. Maybe it's because I redone all of the reward missions I was able to achieve before the update, although, the patch notes mention that you have to redo all of the missions anyway, so I doubt that's the problem.
Meanwhile, I'm still stuck relying on Miracle Meets SPA, Elisha SPH, and bloomin' feeling SPN for my As, AAs, and AAAs, respectively, but at least the Sky Layer gave me enough DJ points to finally unlock 3y3s(Long Ver.).

I use Sorrows and Nadeshiko Rock if I really need to AA or AAA something. I haven't AAA'd any of the 11s in Infinitas, but I have AAAd mosaic once. So if I get reliable at that then I could use it as both my 11 and my 12. (Once I unlock it, if my game stops crashing.)
I haven't unlocked 3y3s (Long Ver) yet, but I did play it when it was temporarily free, so it's still adding 40 djp to my total towards unlocking it. I definitely could unlock it if I failed some more 12s on doubles. Being able to play the 5 anothers I just unlocked would also help.
I guess I'll try re-installing the game. Maybe the update went bad, I dunno. But it crashes reliably on the result screen and nothing asset-wise changed there. The patch only added a new texture for the Sky Layer, added the new songs, and updated the exe. So I have to assume it is something code-wise.
EDIT: I just did some extensive testing, and the crash is definitely caused by clearing a chart for which I have earned a new reward achievement. At first I thought the crash was caused by having "Full Combo Shelter of the Mind [7N]" equipped to my first frame, since that is no longer possible. But I unequpped it then did a save & quit without playing a song. And I thought that fixed the bug, but I'm still crashing whenever I play Shelter of the Mind or any of the songs that I just unlocked.
Also amusing is that when I pick the 3rd pacemaker, I see DJ ALLEN (myself) as the red bar for EMPTY OF THE SKY 7A. So somehow the pacemaker saved, but my score did not. Because my saved score is 0 / No Play. (I don't know what pacemaker this is, but it often returns myself, "TS", or one of a few other people.)
EDIT2: yesterday I noticed that I could suddenly play Infinitas again and complete reward missions. Sure enough today's news post on the official website says that they did something server-side to fix the clients which were crashing. So I bet it was something to do with my mission state after all. And that was quick!
(But I am paying a monthly fee after all.)

Speaking of the controller, I'm really liking the look of the final version so far.

The press got their hands on the final controller at TGS. And it wasn't delayed to 7/20, that's the somewhat recently announced ship date.
What I want to know is the one thing you kind of can't tell just by playing with it: are the turntables analog? (In the client.) It only matters for backspin scratches and navigating the songwheel, but it sure matters.
I completed all 3 layers on another and I'm' saving my bits for next week!

In other IIDX news, the new update also dropped today with the new Summer Layer as well as Archive Layer #2 or three separate extra layers for those who already have the February songs. Each extra layer is the same as the first except there are only 12 spaces each layer and you only get an extra 1500 bits for completing each one.
The Summer Layer consists of the following songs in unlock order:
Dancin' Into The Night
Roots of my way!
Abyss
awakening
GHOST REVIVAL
D.C.fish
rottel-the-Mercury
Arabian Rave Night
Other notable updates:
-All charts now have HC and EXHC reward missions associated with them. Needless to say, they have to be redone, but the missions do stack.
-A reward missions clear indicator is now shown above the score data, reducing the font size of the level numbers.
-The "Game Over" text is in a different font.

What on earth do those songs have to do with summer? You'd expect it to have some Resort Anthem songs in it or something.

Now downloading the update...
This is the most boring-ass layer I think we'll ever see. (I hope.) They could picked 8 completely random songs whose songids range from 1000 - 17999 and done better than this. One of them might have even followed the summer theme!
Difficulty: 3 (hyper), 9, 8, 10, 10, 11 (the easiest 11), 10, 11. There's not even a 12 at the end of this layer? Are you kidding me?
Choice: Abyss is classic, and Arabian Rave Night is hype, but I bet this layer is all stuff that gets removed at the Shinobuz location test next week.
Artists: good-cool* (*but it's a 3), Taka, Taka, Akira Yamaoka, LED, Tatsh, Shinji Hosoe!, Sota.
Theme: I suppose the video for rottel-the-Mercury was filmed during the summer?
I'm feeling pretty bitter. But Ace arrives next week and the Museca patch I've been waiting for also arrives next week. So I'll get over it by not playing these songs very much.
I had nearly everything under a 9 full comboed when Akashic Explore started. So I had to make a list of songs that needed to be re-cleared and re-full comboed. I wrote down like 50 charts (title and difficulty) and I did them as I did the daily missions. This is a 5, nailed it, this is a 6, nailed it, etc. Then I made a list of 50 more things to redo. I'm currently on my 3rd list. And I actually thought to myself: they should add HC and EXHC missions too. Except, oh god no, then I'd have to redo everything in the game all over again. I mean, good, but hnnnnnnnng.
EDIT:
- The new mission status indicator saves me the trouble of making a pencil-and-paper list. Good, but think about what this means. When would I ever have a HC lamp on a song without having the HC mission done? This new UI element only has meaning for 'old' players, and only until they've caught up again.
- IIDX is life. How is it even possible to pick 8 songs that disappoint me as a group? When I see the random dailies in copula I'm always excited by something. "Oh man I need to play that song again!" All I can think of, is they're saving the good stuff for when Infinitas is a complete game, or Shinobuz removals.
- At least this crappy layer only cost 2000 sectors to complete. (Even smaller than the last two.) I guess that kind of makes up for not having a 12? For what it's worth the 7 songs on another were unlocked at: 50, 90, 150, 230, 330, 450, and 700 additional sectors. I'd edit Bemaniwiki myself, but someone else seems to be editing the page right now. (Yes, 7 songs, because one of the new songs is only a 3 on hyper. Thanks.)

Do i have to complete the whole Archive layer #1 to even get in Archive layer #2 or #2 extra?
Im at 22% on archive #1 right now..
also here to complain about how stupid of a grind the bit / layer unlock system is, especially for new players who cant do upper level missions.

Unlocking Archive Layer #2: unsure. I would expect it to appear regardless of your progress in #1.
Yeah here I am complaining about having to do everything 2 or 3 times... but I'm getting paid for it.
I can imagine that if "AA a lv 7" to you is like "AA a lv 12" to me that you would have many fewer bits. But then again, you're probably unlocking all the normal charts right? It costs me exactly twice as much to unlock the another charts. Getting a sudden 1000 bits from the achievement missions helps you more than it helps me, too. (That's worth 40 sectors, and that doesn't even buy me the first song on a new layer.)
Advice:
- Skip archive layer #1 once you have V on normal. Beyond that almost everything else is rated 10+.
- If you ever attempt the Space Layer, know that it is larger than the rest. Especially at the end - the gaps between songs 6, 7, and 8 are huge. You'll actually get song #6 when your progress is at 50%. Getting those last two songs isn't worth it when you have other layers to do.

http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/eac2dx/infinitas/p/common/event/iidx_ev1608sc.html
So, there isn't just one controller release event, but three, and only the first event is announced so far: from August 1st to 14th, you can get 3000 bits per day simply just by logging in each day.
http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/eac2dx/infinitas/p/questionnaire/index.html?form_id=3
Also, Konami released a questionnaire aimed at INFINITAS players, asking for, among other things, feedback on the premium model controller (which I am now proud to own two of).
UPDATE 2016/08/09:
http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/eacloud/p/common/info/news.html?news_id=20160809_iidx_ud
The new update is finally here and, oh boy, it's a big one.
-All players can now view their DJ DATA here. Rival functionality should be online too. [BTW if anyone wants to add me as a rival, my ID is on my profile page.]
-DJ level and clear status folders added.
-Controller release event #2: from now until the 31st, all bits acquired from repeat missions have been multiplied by 1.5.
-New missions for getting a certain number of Greats and P-Greats have been added too, as well as "Rival Challenge" achievement missions.
-Controller release event #3: which is actually the next "PREMIUM∞CUP" championship set, consisting of AA, 冥, ワルツ第17番 ト短調”大犬のワルツ”, and 灼熱Beach Side Bunny, from the 10th to the 21st. Bits are now awarded to everyone who participates, the amount of which depends on your place on the leaderboard.
Finally, the new "Resort Layer" is here, which consists entirely of Resort Anthem songs!
In unlock order:
-Fantasia
-Sakura Reflection
-黒髪乱れし修羅となりて
-Mermaid girl
-Kailua
-ANTHEM LANDING
-旅人リラン
-reunion

Mine is C-9691-0504-0764. Although I recently had to downgrade to a KOC.
I really like what this patch indicates! If I wasn't told just before filling out the survey that rival support was coming, that would've been the #1 thing I would've asked for. (I filled out the survey right when it first went up.)
Eight songs from RA is a good sign too. It shows that they're no longer afraid to put new(er) stuff in the game. And they did a much better job of picking songs, too. It's like they're listening! Well, I assume the Japanese players said the same thing as I did because this patch adds 6 new 12s, two of which are in the layer. But the non-12s are solid choices too.
I already forget how I answered the survey, besides honestly, and in English. But something that stood out to me was the mention of Edit Mode as a potential feature they'd implement if players cared about it. I think I'd still rather have Training Mode first but I'm very interested by this. Would it merely allow me to create godly randoms and not change the song? Or can I actually move/add notes to make (for example) Zenius-I-Vanisher 7A from the 7H? There's no way they'd do completely original song creation, right?

An emergency patch was released, it fixed the bug that MISS COUNT was saved incorrectly as the player obtained lower MISS COUNT when failing in the middle of a song.
Also, in the next BEMANI livestream on tomorrow, DOLCE. will be playing INFINITAS (probably with the controller).

It looks like Konami caught the bug pretty fast, I started the update shortly after I woke up (at 5AM PDT) and it already had the fixed version (2016080801).
I took a shot at the Premium Cup (and will upload my video shortly...apparently the Steam overlay is picked up by my video recorder, much to my surprise)
. I noticed that the Akashic Explore Reward missions don't trigger during Championship Mode (I didn't get the N-Clear for any of the four songs), but you can still select Repeat missions (complete with the "YOU HAVEN'T PICKED A MISSION" warning if you don't!).
My INFINITAS ID is C-2382-4715-5322. I've been sticking with a good ole keyboard, as while I have a PS2 converter, I ain't got the foggiest clue where it is hiding (been a LONG time since I've had any use for it).

We can only see our own INFINITAS ID with this website. The only ways to let other players know your INFINITAS ID are either doing a copy & paste or making a screenshot of the profile page.
I'm kinda confused here? Profile showed it just fine to me.

Well, what I mean is that if you post http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/eac2dx/infinitas/p/djdata/djdata_main.html, we are not able to see your player data. That link only leads to the main page.Post #338 · Posted at 2016-08-14 01:15:51pm 8.8 years ago

I'm planning to buy a new computer in 2017 (maybe a little bit earlier than 2017) and i want to play INFINITAS on my new computer. Is this possible to play INFINITAS from Turkey or any EU country?

There is a trial download of INFINITAS (click the green button when you're logged in to your eAMUSE account), which could probably help you answer your question. The login functions the same as the full game, except that you don't need any sort of subscription to use it.
You can use this to judge if you can log into the game, and how well it runs. Unfortunately, since the game autoplays the song in question (currently Miracle Meets Another), you won't be able to test if your keyboard is good enough to play (anything that prevents certain key combinations from being pressed simultaneously won't work without the KEY ASSIST option).
Players from the US are able to play this just fine (I'm one of them), so I can't imagine that you'd have any difficulty logging in from wherever you are at.

Thanks man! I'll try on my new computer.
