I finally got enough Spt on unlock Impact. Yay!

Finally got Landing instrumental via RANDOM. But I guess you can't unlock it?

Someone in the ingame forum chat confirmed unlock challenge for Dynamite Sensation via random, so i guess Landing instrumental should be able to as well...

I didn't get unlock challenge for it. It just took me straight to the song as if I already had it.

It doesn't give you the unlock challenge every time. I got Another Chance twice via random without the unlock challenge...

There are 2 variables here: Random specific rare songs AND getting unlock challenge via random
You have to be really lucky if you managed to land on both at the same time...

Someone in the ingame forum mentioned spending 1000 tickets and yet got nothing...

About the Random Festival, i don't care about that secret-overspending-tickets songs, i know that before every Random Festival, an online event is next, i guess.

If I were you, I would worry about unlocking MASTER charts or get more RP...

Is it just me, or are Unlock Challenges in Random Select Festival happening more often than usual this time? I've already gotten 4 or 5 so far.

I've had 2 unlock challenges but they were both songs I already had Now I have no more standard unlocks left so hopefully...

Nu Era is BEAST. I never thought SPARKER and Drum and Bass would mix so well.

For those of you who can't read Japanese, the first (leftmost) sheet is "Unlock Challenge (Player Side)", the second (middle) sheet is "Unlock Challenge (Support Side)", and the third (rightmost) is "Mission (Personal Use)" and appears to be a miscellaneous notes sheet made by whoever created the spreadsheets.

Also, on the subject of Unlock Challenges, I could swear they're happening much more often too. I got one for "some day (instrumental)" on my 3rd (I think) try, and I've had about 5 or 6 total (including that first one). Anecdotal evidence from 2ch also seems to suggest the frequency is much higher than before, probably double that of last time (and that was officially stated to be 2.5x that of the first time).

Edit: There's been some speculation on 2ch that having a higher RP and/or more songs already unlocked may increase your chances of getting an Unlock Challenge. It would explain why some people are getting Unlock Challenges 10% of the time and others are getting zilch, but it's still just anecdotal evidence, so take it with a grain of salt. The people on the top of the RP ranking also tend to have the random-drop songs, but on the other hand, there's likely a correlation between both RP and the number of songs they have unlocked vs. willingness to buy Premium Tickets with real money, and the latter would obviously be very helpful in unlocking those songs.
