Having played stuff like the 4th Mix PLUS Maniacs for BOYS, MY FIRE, HAVE YOU NEVER BEEN MELLOW, and XANADU; I actually understand what they were trying to do with Kind Lady ... a mixed bag of results perhaps, but at least it didn't err on the side of being too easy/understepped at least.

Personally, I liked the music of "Hero" by PAPAYA (Are we talking about this one?) But the 2008 X-edit made it suck. In other words, the original (in 2nd Mix) was still the better one.

On the other hand... X|

HERO was the worst X-Edit in my opinion, both musically and stepchart wisely. However, whoever charted SIZE OF A COW forgot to double check the chart before release.

It's a good song. Ish. But an utterly DIRE chart. Not as bad as NU FLOW, but daaamn. I could see one of the Unleashed two being in the final.

aside from the hilariously bad name for the song, there's not much here to say.

DUB-I-DUB and Butterfly butchered the bleeding crap out of their originals. And that latter only became MORE annoying by trimming a verse in favor of yet ~another!!~ chorus loop. And while the music cut for BOYS wasn't bad, they went with the awkwardly horrible 2nd Mix Maniac steps instead of the exponentially better 4th Mix PLUS chart. (Which at least DUB-I-DUB had the sense to do for the last chorus of it...)

In fact, I'm quite surprised to not see BOYS (2008 X-Edit) nominated in it's place.

I'm fairly certain I'm in the minority, but I like the X-Edit song cut for Butterfly more than the original cut.
