I am just wondering if I can still have a spot in the game again, sorry that I didn't say anything earlier. If anyone of you guys were saying that I left because I was in inexsertions team you are wrong. I had a few projects that were due and I thought I would be piled with work all year. But now i'm not since I am managing my homework better now. So yeah...My bad.

Arksphere: I like the chart. Good variation of rhythms for a song that's pretty flat in those terms.
Bamboo on Babmboo: -5 for spelling this wrong. Everything else was OK except why DJ Maniax is in my stepmans??
BEAUTIFUL LIAR: lol, I wonder who sings this song. Nice execution of a slow song, but it's still bordering on the 5.1.1.
Bubble Pop: Except for the dead left foot (overusing the left arrow), the first part was quite good. Then... A WILD HYUNAWUBS APPEARED
Halfway Around the World (Almighty Definitive Mix): Honestly, this song is kind of boring. Almighty Definitive mixes are boring. But you did a fantastic job with emphasis at the right times.
HARD TO SAY I'M SORRY: The patterning is a bit more pianistic rather than dance-driven. And maybe a bit repetitive. Overall, though, it had a nice DDR pre-EXTREME feel to it.
KISS ONE MORE TIME: A couple strange spins, a couple things I couldn't make spins out of. But the rhythms are quite nice (if a bit easy for a 7').
Matsuri: That Challenge chart. Where are these sounds that you're stepping to? I simply can't hear them. The Heavy chart was very well done though.
prompt: One of my absolute favorite songs from Lincle! I liked your chart too for the most part. It could use a few less jumps, and if you echoed the rhythms from the beginning where they reappear at the end it might fit very well.
Radioactive: So many gallops...The parts I liked the most were where you broke up the gallops with freezes/jumps or different rhythms. The chart could probably accommodate a few more of those.
Raison d'être: Considering that this tune was literally the first thing I stepped and released, I have to suppress a whole lot of nostalgia to play a different take on it ;) Needless to say, your chart is far better than mine was.
SHOUJO IN ~VIRGIN IN~: Kind of surprised I FC'd this chart the first time through. It was a great physical and moral effort to continue listening until the end.
SigSig -Dark Side Remix-: This chart's very well done, with good flow and use of freezes. But the sync on this file was so offset that I got over 75% Goods D:
Silhouette of My Mind: For a first released chart, this is an excellent effort! My main advice to you is to think about how it would be to play your patterns on DDR (sudden streams and DROP OUT jumps are typically a no-no), and to go back and fix the timings as well if you want to use Ctrl+R to draft your steps (or don't use Ctrl+R at all).
Umbrella (Lindbergh Palace Remix): The patterns make this sim. I love what you did to match the eighth streams with the vocals.
What the Hell (61 Degrees Mix): I like this remix haha. I must say, you have the exact opposite idea of how to use freezes that I do. The rhythms you stepped to are well put together though.

LONG POST ALERT
REVIEWS! HUZZAH!
Bamboo on Babmboo: You and your crazy antics Taro... This chart is really fun, gimmick aside, which was really hard to site read. Everything flowed nicely, and I really liked the step-step-jump, step-step-jump patterns in the song.
Beautiful Liar: I really don't get along with slow songs, unfortuntaly. <_< The chart itself was pretty solid, if not a little stale by the time I got to the chorus for the second time.
Elisha: Minor Gripe: Song Sample seemed to be a weird place to pick. This song is really interesting, this isn't a bad thing, but some of the stops and slow downs are really are really jarring and weird for me. The first time through I missed most of the stops, mostly due to the fact that I don't picture Elisha to be a song with gimicks like this. You get props for thinking differently than I do.
Halfway around the World: This was really good. There are a few things I really look for in my stepcharts, and one of them is if I would play this song even though I normally wouldn't. While normally I'm not into the kind of music that this song is, the chart is so much fun that I would play it, so congratulations on accomplishing that. There were a couple of doublesteps I noticed, which I don't really like seeing in charts, but other than that this was a really well rounded and fun chart.
Hard to Say I'm Sorry: So many jacks... This song single handedly tired out my legs, but it had a great progression of difficulty and reminded me of earlier DDR titles. The chart definitely isn't something that is very Dance Track-y, but it goes with the music so well that I didn't really care.
Kiss One More Time: I was a little worried by the opening since you followed the lyrics, but when the chorus came in I was pleasently surprised by the flow of the chart. This was pretty good, although a few parts that I assume where supposed to spins are really hard to pull off.
Last Burning: This is a song I can get behind. The song itself is amazing, and the chart is fun and varied enough that it stays entertaining without getting repetitive. Really great job with this song.
MATSURI: I wanted to like this chart, since there was a nice difficulty to it, but I was bored with it half way through the song. The repetitive patterns plus the lulling music itself is not a good combination :/
Mermaid Girl -Actually Pretty Good Remix-: This was actually pretty good. The only problem I had with the chart was that the beginning was maybe too hard. The start just kind of hits hard like a train, so the song goes hard-easy-hard, rather than scaling from easy to hard like I'd prefer seeing in songs. Other than that it's a really great song.
prompt: This song was really fun, and also really fair. While it would have been easy to make it harder, I like the fact that you didn't make it harder. I really don't know what to say about this song, as it was a really great song and stepchart. :/
Radioactive: I'm a sucker for 12/8 songs, but like I already pointed out, it would have been better if the opening where easier. This is especially problematic, as the hardest part of the chart is right at this start. Other than that, this was really good and fun.
Raison d'etre <Malcht and L'erisia>: The chart was really good, and all the slow downs and stops made sense to me.
Redraw lots: I had a review of Redraw lots here, but it seems to have been ated. Anyways, to summarize: I really didn't like the song itself, but that doesn't matter because you made the chart so much fun that I found myself coming back to play the chart anyways. This is a great example of a really good chart, and I really enjoyed it. P.S. synching with the slowdowns must have been a pain.
Shoujo In ~Virgin In~: MY TECHNORCH IS BETTER. With that out of the way, let's get serious: The speed change in this song was really sudden without warning, but it makes sense musically. This isn't one of my favorite TECHNORCH songs personally, but you did a good job really capturing the feel of the song.
Silhoette of My Mind: Very interesting. This is definitely a 10, for the record, The difficulty in some parts of this were also really schizophrenic, with a really hard 16th burst, followed by really easy patterns. Other than that this is pretty nice.
Umbrella: This chart was pretty good. My only complaint is that the ending seemed to be out of synch, and a small section in the middle had this problem too. Very weird, but other than that this was a great chart.
Team Reviews:
Arksphere: The song sounds repetitive, but you wouldn't know that just looking at the steps. Credit to you for making this step chart varied when the song itself is really the same pattern for most of the song.
Bubble Pop: *sigh*... You know I think in the first PM I sent I talked about wanting quality checks on all team simfiles. This is why. While the first half of your song is really solid with a few double steps that a manageable, the second half of the song just kills it for me. The tempo change makes no sense, and while it is on sync, there are better ways to deal with dubstep than how it was done here. While I don't want to come off as being annoyed, it's kind of hard not to after looking at this simfile.
SigSig -Dark Side Remix-: Simfile is offsync and too many crossovers. Seriously this simfile is terrible what were you thinking?lol self-depreciation

I wouldn't go that far. I LOVE the song sample section. It's just that they put it in the middle instead of being a proper climax, making everything after that a bit...eh.Post #329 · Posted at 2011-10-30 09:40:42pm 13.8 years ago
