They've got enough time left in the development process to take them out or re-edit them if the ESRB decides that the videos are too naughty. Heck, look what they did with "When I Grow Up"'s video.
I looked at the youtube for the stepchart, I see nothing wrong with it/don't see the edits.
Hopefully they can add I'm so Happy and Yellow Candy. Those songs were awesome from X2. For licences (I'm assuming that only the artists on the trailer are going to be featured, no more additions) I wouldn't mind Runaway Baby (Bruno Mars' fastest song) and maybe Tell Me Something I Don't Know (Selena Gomez's first song, arguably her fastest too.) Looks like it's going to be way better than last year's iteration.
Seeing a disturbing trend in these games recently though: Newer releases are getting 50 songs

The number of licenses isn't really changing, it's the number of KO's. The problem is that the mixes are pretty much caught up with the AC mixes. PS2 mixes were constantly pulling up old KO's that US had missed, filling out 60+ songs easy, now the DDR mixes consists of pretty much all brand new content or content that's already appearing on AC at the time.

So wait, will it be rated Teen instead of E10+ then? I'd get that if they were talking about the dancing characters *cough*cough* JENNY!!!!(from X2 AC)

Actually, Margo, they might have to edit the characters, if they are going to make the games E10+. Besides, it's more likely the songs that might make the game rated T, due to lyrics or even suggestive themes. When I was in Elementary school, we had DDR for the Wii and it's obviously 10+, due to language and suggestive themes. Since DDR is used in schools, they are either going to have to rate the games either E or E10+, to make it safe. "My Prerogative", however has the lyric "damn", and that would have to be one of the uncensored words that can be allowed in the game, just as long it isn't serious.

Our CS mixes only get around 1/4 of the songs on the AC versions, and it seems like they are always the lower quality songs and easier boss songs. The best CS mix we have gotten in a good while was X, it was only missing a couple of songs that were on the AC.

X CS wasn't really...a good release.
That's subjective, really.
As for words like "*&^)@" or "!#^)" they usually just blow a whistle or something to censor that in radio stations. Imagine that in DDR. Whistles and car horns around the song.

It was a good release if you look at it in terms of how accurate the song list is compared to the AC counterpart.

In the Max - SuperNOVA series, they would have at least 60/70 songs apiece. Marketing much?

It's probably more likely that we're getting Naturally or A Year Without Rain, because they're her most popular singles. I personally would love Naturally to be in the game - it's really danceable and has great stepchart potential.
And (@ Daiz) realize too that they can easily pad out the songlist with BEMANI crossovers, X2 KOs, X3 previews, a few more licsenses, a few more revivals, etc. Look at the Ultramixes. 85% percent of the game was new content from various sources, while they saved the final 15% for revivals. If the game was 50% new content and 50% old it can easily break 80 songs, let alone 50.

There's enough unused X2 KO content for DDR II to easily have over 70 songs.

"Damn" is in My Prerogative in HP3 over here and that's a 3+."Damn" is in I'm Yours (which shouldn't have been IN in the first place, but I digress) in HP4 and that's enough to make it a 12+.
WHAT THE HELL?

Jenny and Ruby from SuperNOVA! lol, I remember a few years ago when the CS version was released, my mom was just astounded that they let that slide. For lyrical censorship, I don't think Konami's very strict with that (for example, Makes me Wonder in HP2 had the F word replaced but retained g**d*mn). And in Extreme, Highs off You has a precision F strike in the song. Pick it up if you don't believe me.

Highs Off U is pretty infamous in that regard.
We also have All The Things She Said on Dancing Stage SuperNOVA CS muting out the part of the line "I'm in serious shit", and the lyrics still displaying the word in full.
Also doesn't Dirty Digital have swearing in (although heavily filtered)?

^^ It's called alternate costumes. Jenny's alternate SN2 costume was much more wholesome, IMO.

I honestly don't think damn is so vulgar unless you pair it up with something that rhymes with "bod".
