Far east nightbird is from jubeat knit, it even has a long version that's been released twice. If you're digging it, you can probably easily find the full version.

Session 12 -Esther- sounds amazing. It's even better than Session 1 -Genesis-.
F sounds good too, even if it does sound like Decade.
SHADE sounds cool. Better than Anthem Landing.
DIAVOLO sounds great. But that chart is just sadistic.
Almace sounds neat. Same for BLACK.by X-Cross Fade.

After listening to all the songs from the default list, I can say that this style has been really good musically in my opinion.
There are some songs that I didn't like, as with every style (F, DIAVOLO, Mermaid girl Remix, EVOLUTION, 24th Century BOY from what I remember), but there are tons of really good songs that outbalance the bad ones.

Hopefully the unlocks are good as well!

Of all the songs..you chose Shade? That thing fades in and is monotonous throughout in 8ths.

The list is great compared to Resort Anthem.
But...to each her own.

A few words on Step Up mode. It's built like RA's Story Mode - pick one of five levels and clear a certain group of songs to move on. However, you can only play three songs out of twenty offered per stage, of which there are about four per "month". Any songs you missed can be played on the next month. Additionally, reaching certain months will unlock certain songs for Reflec Beat.

So far pretty awesome from what I've heard. Im glad bemani is sticking to more cohesive themes as of late and each mix has been getting better and better (with of course the hiccup that was Empress). Each song has a kind of futuristic feeling to it which is a pretyy awesome theme on its own and works well with what iidx is. I find myself even begining to enjoy the j-pop songs a bit better. Not quite so cutesy and just overal kind of interesting (heck even the Terra song is pretty good, and I tend to not like her/them). I'm curious what the new ES system is gonna be; probably something with crossovers although hopefully more like Sirius' mode rather than Military Splash. I wonder if we'll be seeing 888 in this mix.....

the few songs i've listened to are okay so far. i listened to Shade [a] and didnt think much of it until i realised it was a scripted connection styled song. listening to the whole thing actually makes it pretty awesome

Hey :/ Empress was epic, despite the pink color scheme. One of the producers said that it was marketed towards the female demographic, so he pulled it off beautifully, and I love it ^^ It also houses one of my favorite IIDX songs of all time, Bitter Chocolate Striker, which to this day I still cannot get out of my head

Hah, just like how DDR Wii has the jun EXTRA STAGEs, looks like IIDX is settling into a rhythm of Tatsh Scripted Connection style EXTRA STAGEs.

Sorry, I have to go with Paradox on this one. EMPRESS had a week list IMO. Hell I think Lincle right now has more good songs then EMPRESS did. Now I don't think each mix has gotten better and better song wise, Sirius and DJ Troopers still ranks high on my list, but Lincel is on its way.

In addition to just being a weak lineup of charts and boring music, Empress also marked the end of CS and thus it will always have a bad name. Lincle sounds pretty good thus far and appears to be following the trend of every-other release being stellar starting with Distorted imo.

Ghahhhh. The boring bass in Shade goes through almost the entirety of ALL THREE SONGS.
The second one is my favorite, I think.

Other than F, every song seems relatively dull compared to previous stuff. Session 12 sounds nowhere near as good as the others, Black is probably the most dull Mass Mad Izm song and Shade was just boring, to name a few; in my opinion.

I dont know what people are saying about Empress though, the songlist kicked ass.

Session 12 is ok, it just has the been there done that feel to it.

Black is not Mass Mad's worst song, but it's no way his best. After how epic Beach Side Bunny was, I'm disappointed by this.

Miami Sunset Drive is not getting much love as well.
