I'm really glad someone finally fixed that Valkyrie chart. I failed that song 4 times at the arcade cause I always stepped a half beat early at that part!!! I thought I was crazy or something until someone fixed it.

also I have a video of Gold Rush ED if anyone wants to step it.

Valkyrie dimension / Spriggan

Now I added the 16th from the 610 combo chart.

Currently we have 618 steps, 38 holds.

TOTAL is 656. Zowayix calculated that Valkyrie dimension has exactly 671 steps & freezes. We're just 15 steps 'n freezes away from finishing the song!

Dr.D: Wow, a video of it would be nice. I'm also wondering how crazy is the chart, compared to the SINGLE chart.

Valkyrie Dimension S- Fixed!!

All the Zowayix advices are taken and fixed, added the 610 combo video steps and fixed the death run to 372 bpm...

- In measure 19, the long freeze ends two beats before the single note, not one. - FIXED
- In the freeze-stop section, each freeze lasts only an eighth note, not a quarter note. The tempo is still the same though, so change the lengths of the stops to fix this. - FIXED
- In the slowdown right before the 360 bpm death run at the end, the tempo is 41.25 46.25, not 65. The slowdown only lasts two beats, not three. - FIXED


Watching the D- Chart here ( http://www.geocities.jp/machi_a_n2/Valkyrie_dimension_EDP.html ) i'm gonna do some fixes later. But I wanna confirm if this is accurate... And i'm gonna add the D- chart...

Your SM file is broken, at least on sm-ssc rc2. The DWI works, however.

My personal opinion: I like the GOLD RUSH part but I think the DJ YOSHITAKA-G part is hard to read... ^^;

Yeah basically what Chewphira said. Personally, I would use a more differing font for the artist, usually one less elaborate than the title.

Also, I think this stuff would be more fitting if you posted this in the thread for custom banners and backgrounds. I'm just thinking to a few pages back where this happened and people got told off.

I can't make it a different font because I'm trying to keep with the official album art, and it uses the same font for both the title and the artist :/ and I will post all future work there, and thanks Chewy ^^ i'll adjust the brightness mb a little

Yea thats a graphic design rule we abide by in my design classes. Using the same typeface for two different things is not a good thing to do design-wise. Thats why all my X2 banners have two different typefaces for song title and artist. Otherwise it ll looks like the same thing.

I might change it later ^^ but I like to follow the official album art, and if the fonts are the same, thats what I'll put. MB konami needs some lessons in design, because they used the same fonts.

D- chart seems to be broken on the DWI display. Actually it's not.

@Silverhawke: The ending death run in your simfile is missing four notes near the beginning, and has two additional notes near the end that don't exist.

It should be LDLD RDRD LDLD LULU RURU LU LDLD LU.
The first bolded four are missing in your simfile. The second bolded two intentionally are not in sets of four just to mess up the player more. (Your simfile has LULU.)

Also, right after the first very long freeze, the stop on the down arrow should be twice as long. After adjusting the stop, delete two of the empty measures below that to fix it.

Also, there's only 6 steps and OKs left below the bottom of the screen. (6 steps/5 steps and 1 OK/4 steps and 2 OKs/etc.)
