I came across a small convenience and may end up with this gayme tomorrow morning.

Nice theory, except the groove radar is still right beside the difficulties. On HP3, it was removed for the other two modes. I doubt that they're gonna go through the trouble of making a specialized groove radar for the other two modes. If they did, I will eat rocks.

I'll capture the songs/songlist as soon as I get my hands on a copy.

If you do, be sure to post a video of it for us!
But, somehow I doubt you'll have to....
Besides, you CAN'T eat rocks. Oh. Never mind. There's a very small probability Konami isn't too lazy to do it anyway.

I'm going to give them more credit than darknight and argue that they probably did decide to do separate Groove Radar ratings for Choreography vs Classic. We'll see. I'm probably wrong, but it's worth thinking about I guess.

Consider this video as well. Notice the radar:


Those stats on Let's Get Away are pretty low for something labelled as a 6. (Well, that's the rating it was assigned back then. There's no telling whether or not that rating and the routine have been changed since then.) Compare that to the appearance of the radar in that screen for Plastic Beach, and the similarities come out once more.

I know it's early footage and all and is subject to change, but it's still Choreography Mode.

I meant in overall difficulty. D: The licenses of MUSIC FIT are noticeably MUCH harder than the HP3 licenses. Butterfly, William Tell Overture, and It's A Small World come to mind.
...in my humble, low-experience-in-DDR opinion, anyway. D8; You didn't think much of those licenses were harder than the HP3 ones?

All the KOs seem fairy fun, although it seems Let's Get Away kind of got A Brighter Day-like expert chart. Hopefully it gets an oni in the arcade.

The licenses are hit and miss. Love Shack looked REALLY fun, Animal looked OK, as did Plastic Beach.

That's still a lot of 6s and 7s but whatever. From what I've seen though, much of it looks alright so we'll see.

YES! The Love Shack! It's about time! Epic Win Konami Epic Win!

Rescue Me's chart hasn't changed at all from DDRS, which also hasn't changed at all from Memories. Dammit Konami, I AAA it enough on Extreme US.

I think I'm actually gonna go get this. Difficulty wise this is already MUCH better than HP3 and I haven't even seen much of the KOs yet. So far license charts look good while not being stupid, which puts it's above HP3 for difficulty and HP2 for not being dumb as hell looking at times.

A Geisha's Dream (ruffage remix) is a little disappointing though in that it's easier than the original but oh well you can't win them all.
