Just my two cents:

About CHIKARA being a returning song, nothing is certain. If you remember X1's beta tests, all the songs from SN2 including stuff like Ever Snow and Baby's Tears were in there, but the final version cut them. Just saying to not get your hopes up.

BemaniWIKI speculates that to get Possession, you need to play versus mode and play two songs from X2 for your first two stages. Both players need to get a AAA on both songs and Possession should appear as FINAL stage.

Just thought you'd like to know. Hopefully if you get it, you can pull out your cell phone or something and snap a picture .

Sounds pretty fair. It's kind of like the recent IIDX games in that the bar is pretty high, but not unreasonably high for each difficulty tier, and you'd probably need to do that well on other songs to stand a decent chance on an 18 anyway.

It could be that there are multiple Final Stages, with specific criteria to reach, but only Possession is coded right now?

They seemed to be going in that direction with DDRX's multple Extra Stages and OMES.

To be honest, I don't think Possession will be a FINAL stage in the final game. Even X2, whose location test js building itself up to being one of the hardest Arcade DDRs ever, doesn't seem like it would go that far. I think it'll probably be bumped up higher on the hierarchy.

Oh, whoops. Yeah, I was thinking Extra Stage to Encore Extra Stage when I posted that. An 18 for a Final Stage is kind of excessive, haha.

It's looking pretty good so far, nice IIDX crossovers. lol @ Possession requirements tho.

Any word on extra stage or if random will allow you to get extra stage?

These are questions I need answered. My time in Japan will be very short and judging by what I hear, there's between 15-20 people lines to play once so I gotta make sure I'm making the most of my playing time.

I've got a few sneaky ways I plan on taking videos. Video quality I would expect to be good however, it will probably lack in the sound department.

Thanks for telling me the requirements to try Possession. Shouldn't be too hard assuming its just a "99x,xxx AAA" and the player I'm with can do the same. Hopefully I'll play with soinlove or disney. KK will be with me on friday night but he might not want to play.

The official word from Konami is that there is no Extra Stage available at the test.

- Fly Away is not a licensed song, there should be no concern for a removal, Angelus is SN2, which none of those licenses are said to have been removed.
-EotC was removed on US and EU versions of X AC.

MIEYA mentions DYNAMITE RAVE has same steps as DDR X.

The SELECT MUSIC screen has very similar fonts compared to the PS3/Xbox 360 trailer version. It's VERY likely X2 AC is based off the same engine but with a new skin.
