I mean, i looked through the list and already i am putting this under one of my top faves including SN2, EX2, and MAX2 (lol pattern).

Impressions:
- Pretty surprised they cut the licenses by almost half on X2, but it's a good thing they left the good ones on there

- New KO's look very promising, can't wait to try them out

- Japanese licenses are both a "YES" and a "what?" from me. YES on behalf that we are getting the remaining GOOD X licenses on this game (Blue Rain = INSTANT WIN), a "what?" because we are getting the Groove Radar Specials on this mix...I aslo remember myself predicting this (i made a post saying that if the new DR was going to be on the game, then i could bet money that it's Air special would go along with it...and i guess i was right!) Happy they put DDR (song) on this mix, but they still need to add just a few more songs for the PS2 line, but eh, whatever.

- Revivals i am not liking that much. I mean, it's good to see La Senorita Virtual back, but what about Trip Machine ~luv mix~? Orion .78 (AM-Euro Mix)? WHERE ARE THEY? What about the other songs that haven't seen a PS2 DDR game? Also, it's good to see L'amour back, but what about it's remix? *sigh* oh well, the revivals i am not really feeling except for a few =/.

And that's my end of it, but overall, SO MUCH better than X already, can't wait to play this come next Tuesday/Wednesday

It has less songs than ANY of the PS2 DDRs...

Honestly, I'm not too impressed. 60 songs is too low for a PS2 DDR game, especially since X had 75. Most of the revivals were poor choices (La Senorita Virtual being the only one that really deserved to be revived IMO). Also, the SN2 Specials and no X specials? WTF! No L'amour remix, JUPITER, Ubertreffen, DEAD END...

EDIT: thanks silenttype01 for pointing out Ubertreffen's in the game...I saw the arranged list instead of the original...

AM-3P Chaos special is also missing from pie's reformatted list. I'm glad to see Ubertreffen make the cut. Hopefully they give us the additional speed mods that X arcade has.

I'm trying to figure out what this screen represents...



I wonder if there will be 11 characters in the game with 4 costumes each. How many costumes total were available in X AC? Or maybe the spaces just have to do with the game mode.

I think I'll still pick up HP3 over this version to get the exclusive licenses/KOs to it. I'm not really a doubles player, so I don't really mind losing that.

I also hope that maybe we'll see a few more KOs on disc for the PS3/360 versions, in addition to the DLC.

I think I'll just enjoy this game from the KOs alone. Its nice ot see that they are all in-house artists this time around, but it also sucks that theres no new stuff from the HHC artists (Darwin mainly). Crazy Control has potential in being new boss/hard songs too judging by there names, but I'm hoping they are not. It would be nice to have at least one new boss song on this this. roppongi evolved seems to be HP3 exclusive, which makes X2 lacking in the new boss song department.

Like i said before though alan....on the website it lists all those songs with the heading of "preveiw ddrx2 list" so it is possible, the only reason i doubt that is because like pie said the pdf does say final track listing

Anyways, like i said before, i wouldn't be upset if THIS WAS the FINAL song list for the game, but it would make me happy if there were to be AT LEAST a couple of more "extra" songs thrown in there for the "OMG" factor

by the way al, I WAS FREAKIN' RIGHT! Although it was a small prediction, IT CAME TRUE!




...sadly though, didn't REALLY expect the Groove Radar Special songs to appear on this game but eh, whatever, hell maybe in the next mix the X-specials will be on it AMIRITE?
