My extremely detailed feedback for the week:
Purity - pretty fun and really chill
Cyclone Joker - pretty good
Ganzen no kuso to haruka toji genjitsu - fun and super chill, which I vibe with
Club 115 - fun and bouncy, also has doublesteps but yeah it doesn't bother me, especially at this pace
Lost Lullaby - pretty good but honestly it feels jarring how strangely dense some of the sections can get.
Aurora - pretty cool I guess
The Weekend - fun patterns with the gallops and the freezes but if that damn forced spin in the middle didn't throw me off...
also not sure why I feel like I know Michael Gray but his name sounds very familiar to me
Luv Future - not a fan of the BPM gimmicks and also not a fan of the 24ths at the end.
S7age - really nothing bad to say about this one, it feels like more than 300 steps but obviously it isn't.
Love Trial - not really bad, I do have a gripe with how the chart feels like you made a fully-fledged chart and then just removed steps to get it under 300. Also I started boycotting J-Pop last year, so yeah. just kidding, that last part was a joke. not really.
Street - pretty cool but felt really short. Would've liked it more if it were longer. Should probably be rated at least a 10. Also we see you, subway promo in the background 8) get that sponsorship
Teeth - pretty decent, I'm admittedly not into this song very much though.
Pop Team Epic - some step patterns were pretty cool I guess. It's a hard chart for me since i'm bad at video games, but it wasn't too bad.
Ai-shi-te-ru-yo - it's really not bad, just reaaaaalllly not my thing, I'm not a fan of BPM gimmicks. also it kinda felt like the rolls were just used as a way to skirt around the step limit of 300, but it works.
Hot Summer - not enough doublesteps
Red Sun - I feel like some of the quantizations are off and also it's a bit too karaokey for my taste.
Overdoser Flotage Mix - too long
Uziel - too long
Energy - just kinda boring
Say So - yaaaaaaas we stan the queen of racism. Anyway I thought it'd be more interesting if the arrows followed the bg rhythms more, there are some interesting rhythms in the background with the synths.
Nightmare - could've been spiced up with more jumps, freezes, and interesting patterns.
I Fly - feels disorganized. no offense.
A.M. - kinda boring, some doublesteps (which I don't mind but I know a lot of people do). Definitely not a 12, probably a 9?. HOWEVER - I do like the background.
Boku ga anato no kane... - I have allergies to blue note syndrome and also it's really repetitive. also not a fan of forced spins.
Excite - This, to me, is the main example of someone cheesing this theme and just using a short song to keep the difficulty high, which I feel violates the spirit of the theme. I also reaaaaaallllly don't like those 16th spins.

Alright a little update, it did just dawn on me that those packs take time to upload sooo to hold everyone over until then I'll go ahead and tell you all what's in store for this week.

I said I needed a warmup, but you guys wanted to go ham with all these 16s, 17s, 18s... I'm gonna be completely out of breath. It's gonna be hard for me to read off your next files.
The title of your song cannot have any words longer than 4 letters.
To give some examples of what is allowed, here's a list of some acceptable names from my own collection:

Finally, as to not overcomplicate this challenge, we're going to be sticking to everyone's favorite 26-letter alphabet for this week.

Same here. I honestly did try to make Love Trial feel as complete as possible in spite of the 300 step limit, but yeah that's pretty hard to do when the vast majority of my charts are well over 300 steps.

Is a word being intentionally separated using whitespaces or something similar applicable for this theme? I mean something like "Ha・lle・lu・jah" technically is a word consisted of ten letters but it's separated using special dots for two to three letters each.
Also how does B.B.K.K.B.K.K. works for this theme? Does this count as "Bass Bass Kick Kick Bass Kick Kick" or we'll only count the original ones so it's one letter each?

Don't worry I didn't get any votes either. It's a competition and I guess it's just to what people like and what not, Imnnot surprised on mine because Everytime I like something I have almost nobody else to share it with cuz my taste in things it's completely different from the masses. So it's all good, the point is if you like what you did then that's what counts even if nobody else did

That's still one word so it would not qualify.

A and B are one letter, so this would work. Same with B.B.K.K.B.K.K. If it's an acronym you pronounce as one word (rather than an initialism which is said one letter at a time, there's ur trivia for the day) then it can't be longer than 4 letters like if it were a normal word.

Subtitles and mixes are under the same rules as the main title (ie 'remix' is 5 letters). Featured artists are part of the artist line so the length of those aren't counted.

Thanks for 4th place everyone. There were lots of good files in my group (and overall) the first week and it was really hard for me to vote. Speaking of voting, I started to play through the files for Week 2 and here are my first impressions/criticisms so far.
Notes:
I'm not scoring publicly for obvious reasons.
These are just my opinions.
I only played the hardest single difficulty.
24時間シンデレラ (Rock Disband) - love the graphics and the song. pretty fun chart overall.
7 Rings (SupremeX) - cute graphics and i love this song. i felt like this chart had too many jumps and freezes for my taste and it went on for too long. you could've cut the steps off when the fade out started. also, i think i would have liked it better if the BPM was halved.
Always (Pika-Vix) - similarly to 7 Rings, it felt like there were some unnecessary freeze arrows (not talking about the part that you took from Always from HP1). not bad but not super amazing. also, i believe it should be a 12 or 13.
c.s.q.n. (vonafroa) - the chart fits the song for sure. can't say i'm a fan of the speed up-stop parts (whatever that's called) though (generally speaking).
Chaotic (tamtamino) - i love this chart its super fun and chaotic! but in a good way. reminds me heavily of an old school ddr chart. cute graphics too.
Cold Summer (firejack) - i liked the song itself, but the audio seems a little low quality. as for the steps, it felt overstepped and forced. i feel like this song doesn't warrant a level 14 chart in the first place.
Energizer (about:blank) - i'm not sure why you put the genre name in brackets on the simfile page, but whatever floats your boat i guess. the graphics taken from D3NEX MAXMIUM is pretty lazy. as for the chart, its not really my cup of tea but i didnt feel uncomfortable playing it so you must be doing something right. the song is cool too it reminds me of abyss by dj taka.
FOREVER HARDCORE (lrxevan) - audio quality seems a little iffy (almost tinny-sounding?). love the graphics and the chart is fun.
Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer) (Pie-kun) - great song choice and the steps were amazing as well. i would only change one thing on heavy and thats to change the beats on m32 to something like this (see pic: https://i.imgur.com/nZAOM24.jpg) so that it matches the music better. also noticed the song goes on for a bit too long because of a stray arrrow on light (see pic: https://i.imgur.com/4LveEOp.jpg)

FOREVER HARDCORE (lrxevan) - audio quality seems a little iffy (almost tinny-sounding?). love the graphics and the chart is fun.
Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer) (Pie-kun) - great song choice and the steps were amazing as well. i would only change one thing on heavy and thats to change the beats on m32 to something like this (see pic: https://i.imgur.com/nZAOM24.jpg) so that it matches the music better. also noticed the song goes on for a bit too long because of a stray arrrow on light (see pic: https://i.imgur.com/4LveEOp.jpg)
