Did anyone else reserve a Steam Deck today? Took me about an hour of refreshing but I was finally able to get one in my cart. I'm pretty damn excited for this thing.
For the total opposite of actually buying games, I got Free MC Boot set up for my PS2 and man is this some cool shit. It doesn't quite have the compatibility or capability of a soft modded / HDD upgraded OG Xbox, but the controller has a functioning d-pad so I'm into it.

I believe you can dock the Steam Deck to the TV like you can the Nintendo Switch.

SHIKI, the composer of songs such as Sephirot, Pure Ruby, and Lapis, has passed away.
I'm gutted over this. SHIKI was one of my favorite composers in the BMS scene and I can't believe he's gone. RIP.

Speaking of hardware Best Buy (US only) tomorrow the 20th, will have RTX 30 series cards for sale at select locations. Different stores will have different levels of stock but if you’ve been wanting one without paying a scalper this would be a good time to do. Just arrive at the store hours in advance to secure one.

It was stated from his family that it was a health related issue. They didn't go into specifics though.

I have a habit of revisiting this site like every 4 years, but I hope everyone is doing well. Some of y'all probably have no idea who I am, but I used to be active here like 8-10 years ago.
Anyway, I'm still alive and finally played DDR for the first time in over a year, haha. I'm not really an active player anymore and I had two foot surgeries last year so I need to be very careful when I play, but yeah, I have a video. My channel is mostly art and vocal covers now, but there will be some rare DDR content once in a while.

Yeah I honestly kept it to easier heavy charts(10-15s). Though I did manage to get through Poochie on challenge which is a level 16(choked the end a little).
And yeah I've had bunions on both feet all my life so I finally went and got them corrected. Wasn't too bad pain-wise, but the recovery sucked so much(6 weeks no weight bearing), plus had to do one foot at a time. My left foot is mostly normal now. Right is still fairly stiff. But I am recovered enough to do just about anything including running too.

Welcome back Margo! I've seen your name pop up on the Wii DDR II thread.
So nice to hear that you are doing well after two foot surgeries. We've all went down a skill level or so since ----- happened, so let's hope that we get to improving our DDR skills once everything truly clears up. And also, I still want to play Ace Out.

I get that. I would play more at home if I had time and if my PS2 still worked(rest in pizzas).

What’s wrong with your PS2? If it’s just the disc drive find someone to make you a Free McBoot memory card or order one online for like $10. They’re well worth it.

You dont even need a memory card anymore, you can just burn a CD and boom done.

I don't enter the contests, but just once I would love to see You Wouldn't Expect This In DDR (But It's In There). Stuff like Little Bitch, Hillbilly Shoes, bag, I'm Yours (which got in both a console game and again in an obscure mobile game), Kim Possible theme, those 100 BPM songs by DIVAS, any random Brit pop that bored my American self, anything from that Strawberry Shortcake mix, etc. Charts and graphics would have to be all user original, to challenge the players of course.
