DDR X3 VS 2ndMIX (AC) (Japan)

Holy wow. Well I actually remembered that Challenge charts that have Shock Arrows back in X (and probably X2) are affected in the Freeze part of the Groove Radar.

EDIT: (A 2-week bump that is)Well I watched the video already (for doubles). It is a decent chart and it is not too bad. Also, the song itself seems similar to Sunkiss Drop.

There's a disappointing lack of doublesteps and unnecessary sixteenths in that jun chart. I might need to fix that.

It's stuff like this that diminishes the case for Shock Arrows.

That actually looks pretty fun! I love charts that maximize on certain gimmicks (Sunkiss Drop, Chaos...) so Twinkle Heart was a pleasant surprise. The shock arrows don't feel forced like in other songs. I think that if they're used like they are in this (maybe not as much, but still), shock arrows could work really well in all difficulties.

Honestly though I haven't yet seen a single X3 chart that I hated - shock arrow charts included.

I actually really like that chart. It fits the music well.

With the exception of the ports, the quality control in X3 is super tight so far. If they can't make something great that at least make it not bad. Which makes me wonder what's going to happen when/if they try to top Valkyrie Dimension.

I really like what they tried to do with TWINKLE♡HEART's Challenge steps. The opportune word there, of course, being 'tried to'. TWINKLE♡HEART is trying to be the next smooooch--the step artists are trying to 'throw freestylers a bone' with the chart. Though what they got out of it still looks like a pretty fun chart, don't get me wrong, I don't think that TWINKLE♡HEART can top smoooooch.

Also was it wrong that I was sincerely hoping for a 15/16 Challenge chart? I liked KIMONO♡PRINCESS and... Well, not UNBELIEVABLE, but KP was good.

Even during X era, there's a shock arrow chart not based on other charts. Though it's not as fun as X2 ones. It's Flight of the Phoenix IIRC.

Captain Jack (Grandale Remix) is based on it's but it's fun as hell, IMO.

By the way, for those who didn't max their Groove Radar Air value (200) before the append patch released, they have to play TWINKLE♡HEART to get 200, haha~

I've asked a friend to help (199) by playing DYNAMITE RAVE air special, but his Air value remain as 199 even though he PFC it.

Small bump, but there is debate over whether or not you have to play 5 days in a row to get Twinkle Heart Challenge unlocked since there are players reporting both cases. I haven't had a chance to play a lot in the past week but I have 4 daily stars so the next time I play (today/tomorrow) I'll check it out. The unlock condition might be slightly different or more complicated than "just 5 daily stars"

The groove radar value for Dynamite Rave is now 196 for DP. Not sure for SP but I guess it's about the same.

I just realized that in the poster of DDR X3 vs 2nd Mix, it shows Lady and Emi pointing in the air. But in 2nd mix mode, Dread and Janet are the playable characters, not Lady.

Alstroemeria unlocked at 10 successive daily stars, 13 w/ Shock Arrows. There should be a FLOWER Shock Arrow chart unlocked at 15 successive daily stars.
