DanceDanceRevolution (AC) (Japan)

Oh, that's not at all how I thought they'd split the new songs up. I think the simfile set we have for the 'DDR2013' folder is actually complete now, given how many songs are in the 'DDR' folder?

Edit : Oh, actually, lots of Beginner charts missing :[

Interesting that they split the new "License" folder into 3 smaller ones ( J-Pop,Anime & Game, and Dancemania/Western songs)... We might very well see some new Konami game crossovers and american/european licenses.

Not only that there are a few songs that are missing banners. They have Jackets, but no banners:

Speaking of which the following from X2 and X3 vs 2nd Mix are also missing banners. Again they have Jackets, but no banners or they do have banners but needs to fixed (I.E Bonafied Lovin'):

I know this needs to be in the simfile discussion, but I figured this would get some attention here.

1.) Can the new UI be applied to those using first generation arcade cabinet of DDR?
2.) Are the list of songs in its original order on the old UI of DDR under folder "DanceDanceRevolution" (Not the folder containing the songs "Paranoia", "Trip machine", et al.) and the list of songs in its original order on the new UI of DDR under folder "DanceDanceRevolution (2013)" the same?

Thanks Chewi. Now if someone would be so kind to update the Packs (although I'll do mine manually). Surprisingly I notice that the missing banners in X2 and X3 vs 2nd Mix were actually custom/alternate banners to begin with.

We have a simfile forum guys. I'm getting sick of checking this thread for information pertaining to the title and finding this.

Since IX was released not too long ago, has anyone managed to FC, SDG, or PFC the chart? (I still believe it should be a 19, but whatever, it's a good bridge between 18 and 19.)

I wish IX would have been rated a 19, and have that be an example of the new standard of 19s. I want there to be 19s in DDR 2014, but I would prefer that they aren't rediculous like the existing 19s.

Up there also which surprised me to say the least was the lack of Revolution on youtube: a borderline 18. Thought the "Dr" here had a vid of it but I guess not.

Revolution is a17, no ifs, ands, or buts about it


The one challenge chart that really seems like it should be an 18 is Spanish Snowy Dance

It's impossible for them to make a 19-footer that isn't completely insane.
I personally think IX is a hard 18 at the worst since it still looks like it's do-able, but I don't think it completely fits the criteria for a 19.

A 19 doesn't have to be "completely insane" though. IX works well within the confines of a 19 footer. However, it also works well in the confines of an 18 footer. I'm fine with it either or; not like I'm gonna be trying it anytime soon.

A decent 19 footer could be similar to ITG charts with the 24th and 32nd bursts but with only a few crossovers that are in every DDR chart.

On a different note: when do you guys suppose more songs or charts will be released?
