I was hoping a nice 14/13 for Alstromeria but still a 11 sounds like it would be nice & fun

New songs consistently have underwhelming ratings and no Challenge charts... I smell future Enjoy/Marathon/Paseli content.

Ehh, at least what I call "the anime crowd" is sure to be pleased by jun's new song, I'm sure haha. The new seiya-murai song is pretty awesome though.

And even then many of them still stick with Love Shine/Sakura/Daikenkai

They didn't fap over "only my railgun"? I guess the lack of the anime intro video hurt that.

Most of those same people probably don't even know DDR X2 exists.

Yeah, the anime crowd only cares about songs that sound overtly Japanese, or being able to play [specific song from specific anime] that they happen to like. Railgun was probably the perfect license for the time, but it didn't get much attention.

OH MY GOD THIS SO MUCH. Its really annoying when they keep picking those exact songs and dont bother trying anything else. Each time I go to an arcade they go straight to the anime themed songs and only like them because they have an anime BG or the song is sickeningly "kawaii" and Japanese. Anything else is not interesting to them, so when I play against those types of people I usually speed past the overplayed extreme and supernova-era anime songs.


like what Ashura96, not many of them actually know anything about new versions past perhaps supernova (at least, in my personal experience). And If they do have access to a machine past supernova, they ignore anything new, even anime licenses.

Okay, im done ranting. Im just glad there are other people in the world that have the same complaint about the anime crowd with DDR as I do.

Wow sounds really nice & chart looks fun as hell imo.

The chart seems quite relaxing to play actually, I can see it as a "break" track when players don't want to play something difficult. I personally like songs on the low end of the difficulty range. in my opinion, Konami should make more of them if they decide to add a whole bunch of high 13's to 15's to this mix to even it out for new players.

Now all we need is the one I personally am anxious about: FLOWER.
