please stop posting (talking to you Junko) if you have nothing to add and just shit up the thread with quote pyramids.
why are you being so rude not to upset you but that is very repugnant The look is very refreshing, odd, but refreshing. Can't really say for sure the change in ever snow's album but if it really is to not give any face to Naoki, then wow, ok. Interesting to see a Prim song show up to DDR first before Pop N' or IIDX first, more than likely will be annoying after the next couple times people play it. Elysium seems promising, so far nothing from nc ft. NRG Factory has come out disappointing in my book, so looking forward to hearing that

Center mod? So this is the mod that puts the judgement panel in the center of the screen? Finally. Plus points for Konami adding even more speed increments as well. Heh, won't be surprise if they somehow incorporate CMODS into the game, but that's probably unlikely.
And that's how you make a (maybe not as good but certainly not spam worthy) post.

nope, that mod that says CENTER is the mod for guidelines.

It's not like DDR can have the last of anything good in the BEMANI lineup all the time. Also there's a bunch of Prim songs out there in the IIDX games.
Meanwhile, does anyone have a photo of Sacred Oath's new cover art? I'm curious what it looks like.

I was at my local arcade earlier today and it still doesn't have one. Kind of unfortunate, because it does kind of need an Oni chart.
You won't be able to find out here in the US until those machines get updated on their server.

yeah, I just remembered that; it takes around a month or more for US servers (PW) to update to 2014. so it won't look like that for a while.

I figured.
Anyway, we'll hopefully see it sometime soon.
[EDIT]:
Really? I was convinced that they updated at the same time.
How come they can't update as quickly, though?

Because they're not part of the official eAmusement network and need some time to obtain the needed data and distribute it to the arcades.

Sorry if I sound stupid asking, but Is connection to the official eAmusement network a Japan-only thing?
Are machines outside of Japan only able to used Programmed World to connect?

Round 1 has machines in the US that use an official eAmusement server, so no. If it's not a Japanese company like them, then yes.

technically, yes. it is a japan only thing. other's have to connect to PW.
as silverhawke stated, round 1 has an agreement with konami that allows them to connect to their e-AMUSEMENT servers. other arcade cabinet's (that are not round 1) aren't able to connect to this and pretty much have to rely on PW in order to make the machine work.
so basically if programmed world wasn't created, there wouldn't be many running machines in america (we would have fewer running than we already do) because DDR 2013/2014 cannot run without e-AMUSE.

I thought all the Round1's in the US were still stuck on X3 which no longer support e-amuse?

On top of that, some Asian regions (such as Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea etc) are also part of the network.

What's the difference?
if you don't have e-amuse or another form of connection, the system won't even boot. you need a connection in order to make it work.
as in the servers there's really no difference other than updates come to programmed world a little bit later than official e-AMUSE servers.

eAMUSE is an official Konami-sanctioned network. It is their online service. Basically arcades in Japan (and across certain other parts of Asia) can buy a subscription to eAMUSE, which allows the machines at that arcade to connect to eAMUSE. Historically this enabled a bunch of things like content updates and user profiles. But recently, Konami has moved in a direction where machines REQUIRE a connection to eAMUSE to boot.
So what about Bemani in America and other regions? Well, a talented group of people have set up a service called Programmed World, which is an eAMUSE replica service. It basically redirects packets from Konami's servers to their servers and sends back the correct packets that the machines expect, so the machines are basically none the wiser that they're not talking to Konami. This is free for arcades in America and is currently how Americans have things like Spada, 2013, and others.
Round 1 is the only exception; their close ties with Konami have (mysteriously) allowed them official eAMUSE. However, it's only enabled on Spada and Gitadora; pop'n and DDR are still Fantasia and X3 respectively, since those are the newest versions that don't require eAMUSE to boot.

So we have got a labeled Groove Radar? I love this.

From what I saw, tab 1 is for the difficulty list and tab 2 is for the Groove Radar. I wonder what's inside tab 3?
Also, for some reason I'd like to see how the long song titles fit into that tiny black box under the jackets. I saw how Every Day, Every Night (NM Style) fits there, and it doesn't look pretty.

Judging from the Prim song pic a few pages back, I think long titles scroll.

most probably scores of rival and machine/region/eAmuse best for pacemaker setting.
