So, if you’ve known me you probably know that May 10, 2015 is the day my whole BEMANI obsession began...
Which makes today the 3-YEAR ANNIVERSARY of my hardcore BEMANI obsession.
Not gonna go too in-depth but I am gonna say that it’s been a great three years and I don’t expect this obsession to go away anytime soon! BEMANI has always been so interesting to me and the fun games and their myriads of music always keep me engaged and looking to improve; I also discover new songs almost every day because there’s just so many out there! ;0
Overall, I’m glad I became a BEMANI fan and found a community I could enjoy staying in.

Admittedly, it was brought up in the thread the first time, and when only a warning (and wiping of the stolen simfiles) was given despite a similar paper trail of bad things, I can see why some would feel the need to lay the evidence more bare and signal boost once there was a resurgence. Better to do via PM? Sure, but hindsight's 20/20.

I don't blame regular members at all for taking these matters into their own hands lately.

But for real, Mr.Music, and everyone else, whenever you feel mods/admins need to take action on something, SEND A PM INSTEAD OF MAKING PUBLIC THREADS.

See, in ordinary circumstances, I WOULD think Mr.Music is being a little aggressive here.

But this schtick of not having any solid rules for dealing with people like Yui has been an issue for years and it gets pretty hard to believe that making it public will do harm.

I don't feel like ZIv is a community. I really don't. There's no established ground for people to stand on, just some vague rules made in 2009. I mean, let's look at the "Rules";


1a. I don't REALLY know about "offensive" posts aside from that time a user decided to call someone "tranny", but I cannot FOR THE LIFE OF ME name a user who has not made some kind of shitposty post before without being punished, myself included. This rule is dumb.

1b. This happens all the time without any consequences too. I can at least say that mods DO cover this rule occassionally - that Arrows/SM MaxX incident comes to mind - but it's usually more of an exception than the standard.

1c. There are a lot of back-and-forth dramas on this forum that seem to stem from personal issues that take fucking FOREVER to stop. They can go on for a whole page, and they usually only stop when one member gets bored.

I hope I'm making sense here. This website is just kind of seeming like a stomping ground right now.
