Off-topic: I also had a hard time grabbing a Bitter Sweet Girls Konamistyle edition, since it was sold out online many times even before it released. Luckily, I was able to grab one.

IMO, a ton of people loved TERRA w/Jun but that ship sailed over to Capcom with CrossXBeats.

I still wouldn't rule that idea because some of the other challenge charts can come longer than others. Take Beautiful Dream for example.

Although I think it's safe to say that the SABER WING remix will be getting a Challenge chart at some point. There's no way they're leaving that at such a low difficulty. Not at this point in the game.

That song esrev:eR really needs a challenge chart too. Without one, it would be too easy for an EXTRA STAGE song.

EXTRA STAGE songs don't have to be that hard. Monkey Business was only a 13 when the game was first released.

Personally I really don't care about this anyway; I just want to see new original songs already. Konami is running out of time to call this a "Spring" release.

APPEND: just watched video of SABER WING (satellite silhouette remix), I can assure you there will be a harder challenge chart.

APPEND II: looked at other songs in the TAG birthday festival, it doesn't look like the other songs will get one. unable to check for Romancing Layer, though other songs seems to indicate that it won't get a challenge chart either, only SABER WING (satellite silhouette remix).

There's also a note saying that EDIT functionality won't be available until sometime after the update.

It's about time they did so. It seems that my song update theory might be 50% right/wrong because they usually announce song updates before they happen. Maybe it's a surprise.

I think the song update will be the 20 song UMU x Bemani event which is rolling out between 5/14 - 6/11. Maybe there will be a few surprises right out of the box but I think those songs will be the backbone of the initial new content for the new interface.

Well that makes sense, DDR can never have too many EXTRA STAGE songs.

I just wanna see some actually new songs with this update instead of the seemingly endless stream of crossovers we've been getting. Feels like there's been 10 crossovers for every original song lately.

I'm guessing start up with some new real songs and have the U.M.U songs take up the songs that were supposed to be added 2 months later.
