Dancing Stage SuperNOVA2 (PS2) (Europe)

It's pretty laughable that it was announced first, and is now being released over a year later.
Actually, I really don't know how I would describe this. Laughable, embarrassing, pathetic, pointless...

Just what were Konami thinking?

come on now. Its alright, besides it gives them a chance to take a look at the game, from both countries, and then finally release it. Its not a bad thing. Doesn't it usually go

USA, Japan, Europe, and then other countries? And last I check I don't think Europe really has alot of people that like doing DDR, but I don't know since I don't live there. I felt sad too when I saw that.

The Japanese release is what they release after looking at the other versions...
This version is going to be the same as the American version, so yes, it IS a bad thing.

Also, DDR:UK? Lots of people in Europe like DDR... We've gotten the most western arcade releases.

The usual order for the home versions (i think, since EX USA) is: US, Japan, then Europe.

2004-05: EX USA, Festival, Fusion
2005-06: EX2, Strike, DS Max
2006-07: SN USA, SN JPN, SN EUR
2007-08: SN2 USA, SN2 JPN, SN2 EUR

...the almost-year-long delay between the USA and the EUR versions, just for one exclusive song, is almost inexcusable.

After DDR X released , i think new DS is called DS X. Or no more "Dancing Stage" words again.

Konami are no longer going to use "Dancing Stage" in Europe. They're going to be releasing DDR X as "Dance Dance Revolution X" in Europe. ;)

Europe won't get DDR X.

They'll get DDR XI. By the time they get it, it won't be DDR's 10th anniversary.

Well technically DDR/DS's anniversary is next year in Europe and America, the first DS game wasn't released until spring of '99.

We're getting the birthday games one year early in America.

Yeah, interesting that. One press release I remember reading said they were making Dancing Stage DDR in Europe to make the game truly global or something. But really does that mean just for this one release, certain select releases or a complete name change?

DDR was released in the fall of 1998, right? It would still be during the 10th anniversary, although towards the end.

Some more updates:

HMV has changed from 1st to 18th.
GAME has changed from 5th to 19th. (£19.99 -> £17.99)
gameplay.co.uk has changed from 5th to 19th.

It wouldn't be a European CS game without more game delays.

I suppose those dates were early guesses by retailers anyway. I think the distributor has actually said Friday 19th hence why all the dates are changing to that date.
