I'm entering the DDR singles division at Champions. I know I'm probably gonna get completely annihilated, I'm just entering for the fun of it,

If the pads weren't actually touched, as per what yyr seems to suggest in further comments, "Well-maintained, only occasional misfires." is very generous because I'm pretty sure that before this point the pad hardware was literally never touched at all.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding and it's my fault if so but last I played on them there was pad crap all over the place.

I don't mean to come off like my job is being skeptical about this upgrade - what yyr is doing is certainly helpful but there's a pretty hard cap as to how good that machine can be without serious maintenance, which given the history with management there is frankly unlikely to happen.

If you're not deterred by this sort of thing feel free to ignore this but it should be said imo.

On a brighter note, who might I be running into from here for champions?

Should be a good time.

Was there twice over the weekend and was consistently 99%'ing 9 footers with little-to-no pad crap, at least on the right side. Pushed my out-of-shape-self to try a few 11s and 12s and may have experienced some pad crap on those, but it could have also been me being incredibly rusty.

Huh interesting, perhaps the pads are sticking so the effects are more evident on higher difficulties, I was playing mostly 11s and up back when I was there last.

It's also possible that right actually is better but because my USB didn't work on it I didn't play there.

It is a mystery.

Anyone going to 8 On The Break within the next day or so? Just curious if the ITG pads have been tended to as of late.

P1 Up Arrow was misfiring on Monday night. Not sure if pads have adjusted since. Seeing that there's a major event on friday, I'm sure the pads will be serviced before then.

Champions was fucking awesome. I actually did way better in the DDR singles than I ever could have possibly imagined, and I'm just so fucking stoked on everything. This was my first time going to COTC and I literally could not be happier with how everything went.

It was really nice seeing those of you who were there. Big Grin

I beat him on Tsukematsukeru which was a huge surprise since it was a sightread. We tied on Nadeskhhiko. But yeah, thank you. Guess I should start giving myself a little more credit. Tongue

I'm quite curious to try out P2 on Extreme & SuperNova sometime.

Seriously, if you can get the ITG2 pads to become bracketless AND raised, similar to how CTF/Nanuet used to with their dedi pads on ITG, you will officially be my hero.

im to scared to make the itg pads completely flush as fucking it up would mean braking the panel or bracket

@TheKamilia if you can mod the Supernova pad then you can deff mod the itg2 pads. It would be a lot better if the itg2 pads were modded instead of leaving them recessed, most FA songs these days do require you to bracket and it would be really helpful in the long run especially for Stamina stuff. Just trying to give some advice but until then Sportime’s ITG2 is basically unplayable for me I would still drop by just to play Extreme and Supernova but I’ve seen better days for ITG2 especially to install the simply love theme
