I think you're misinterpreting the clue. My definition of DDR song is a song available as a stage in Game Mode.

Ah...that's tricky. I think I recognize your 'similar song', as I think that one was Feeling's Won't Fade, until it was put in DDR SN CS, so I'll guess the Kind Lady remix during the credits of one of the MAXes.

I said it's not a DDR song. I lied...kind of. It's "sampled", if you will, in a medley.

I'll post an easy one to get things rolling again (this is completely different) :

Alright. The "medley" is actually pot-pourri d'orange, which debuted on Ultramix 3 and is repeated on Universe 2 (c3), and consists of Mondo Street, FuriFuri'60, and Mobo*Moga (c4, c5). Mobo*Moga was already on DDR Extreme, Mondo Street would later appear on SuperNOVA (and Ultramix 4) (c2), but FuriFuri'60 has yet to appear on DDR (c1).

Anyway, the second one is still open.

Here goes mine:

1. I was first heard in another game in my original form.
2. A remix of me found its way to DDR.
3. I was initially not given a groove radar reading until supernova.
4. My composer composes music outside the inner circle, but inside the territory.

Perhaps another one.

1. Despite my name, I'm far from what it signifies.
2. I never got my foot ratings in a DDR arcade version, but joined the rest of the gang wherever they went.
3. Now that you mention it, I was never featured in the next arcade releases.
4. I have two versions (last time I checked), but only the remix was included.
