@chew: That Rockstar pic is pretty sweet, but those borders around the characters look a little blocky if you know what I mean. If you have photoshop, might I suggest trying a light glow effect? Otherwise, keep chugging away! You're getting pretty good at this!

fresh from GIMPshop:
I'm still getting used to GIMPshop, but I am getting the hang of it
Though I still need to figure out how to add borders to text (i use the script-fu which is not really customizable), changing colours in parts of pictures, and so much other stuff. Either way GIMPshop is awesome
I think I spent about an hour on this banner fiddling around with what would make it look good. Plus I restarted once because GIMPshop randomly closed. So, what do you think of the banner?

I personally like #1, but it's probably because when I resized, it, it didn't look right. So my mind thinks that #2 doesn't look right, too.
And I made it with Paint.NET.
