Also, you do realize that when Asia got access to this event first, only Angelic Jelly was unlocked by default right? All the other songs needed to be unlocked through either SDVX, IIDX, or jubeat to get them in DDR. And then from there, you had to get every difficulty from Beginner/Basic to Expert, for every song, in EXTRA SAVIOR.

Considering all the songs are now already unlocked for us (besides Triple Counter) in SAVIOR, we have it a lot easier at the cost of just getting the songs less than a month late. 18 credits is like a single session for me, maybe 1 and a half, lol.

Wow I just realized this simple concept of a game is still going strong after 18 fkn years, my whole life. That's a long time.
And I'm glad that there's still a community behind it. Despite the occasional argument here and there, it's still nice to be a part of

Whoever's photo that is, he/she probably cleared all the other songs on Beginner/Basic difficulty, unlocking Triple Counter for Beginner/Basic. Look at the color of the difficulties on the other songs.

Does it also work if you clear all the songs on basic difficulty? Or only beginner?

It's interesting that the sealed text color is still purple, even though it sounds like there no non-DDR prerequisites anymore. (In which case I'd expect the sealed text color to have changed to the standard green)

I edited my initial post saying it was probably on Basic, as there isn't much of a reason to play on Beginner. If you look at the other songs, their selected on Difficult (Red) or Expert (Green), which means for the ones selected on green, this person has cleared up to Difficult, and the ones selected on red, Basic, since their selected song lamps are not lit, meaning no play yet (Hope that makes sense, lmao. As a result of clearing the 5 initial songs on at least Basic, Triple Counter Beginner/Basic is unlocked.

This is probably at a Dave and Buster's, because it's common for people to load up on credits on the machine if they're by themselves/with a few people.
And yet, you're (usually) still expected to pay for your own credit if you want to play a round with whoever put up the credits to begin with.

If the song is pink, req. unlock difficulties in order: BASIC -> DIFFICULT -> EXPERT
If it is green, Req. EXPERT only for full unlock.

That's what VR0 is saying. By default, you have to play BASIC, then DIFFICULT, then EXPERT to fully unlock the song and all its charts. That's why the songs appear as pink.

The other EXTRA SAVIOR songs appear as green because you just need to play EXPERT to fully unlock the song and all its charts.

18 credits isn't a lot-lot considering you only use 2 stages per song of those playcount playing low-interest charts before you play them on expert which is already what you are there to unlock them for

I think 18 credits were fair for users.

For SDVX a minimum of 15 was required
IIDX was nice enough to have them all unlocked after the debut of SINOBUZ
Don't get me started on Jubeat and Pop'n

He's posted nothing on Youtube for a while.

Spent 8 hours unlocking Triple Counter in one go.

I think the unlock process is pretty fair. Spread out, it wouldn't take more than maybe 2-3 days regularly. It was definitely fun playing through all the difficulties of the songs and seeing which would make good warmup charts. 18 credits isn't too much, and the charts are fair enough that even if you don't have Level 3, they're pretty doable for their levels.

Let's be honest, 18 creds SOUNDS like a lot but it's miles better than the shit they pulled with RDI.

This is referring to DR.D's 2nd DDR Podcast... Regarding Chris, the last I remembered, he suffered some kind of ankle injury (Not sure on what caused the injury). Fro what I last know, he is able to do 13s and or 14s just fine (Only when he touches his ankle is when he feels the pain). Whether his ankle will heal, pain wise, before the end of the KAC preliminaries....not sure yet, but I do hope he does make a safe and speedy recovery regardless.

To be fair, RDI was theoretically doable in 13 (6 for phase one, 7 for phase two) it's just that the songs were so absolutely ridiculous that no one could possibly do them in the first try.

Also, really, it didn't even take that many unless you REALLY wanted to go for OT"P", so :V
