All looking good, the main issues are, from what I can see: USB unlocks, pad and timing drift.

Unlocking via USB unlocks rather than e-AMUSE. They said it's a possibility.

They are no longer using pad codes?

Well, no use giving the usual pad codes, if the pads are now functionnal... XD

I guess it's gonna be simpler that way, you put in the key and you enjoy the songs, instead of looking like an idiot playing on the pads at the title screen with no effects even after 10 tries...

This is Konami's chance to apologise for what happened with X1. And for once, it looks like they're taking that chance.

This^ IF Konami actually implements USB unlocks, fix the pads and the timing issues, I will literally travel for hundreds of miles to play on one of these things.

I think the whole Early Late markers should be available too as im guessing its an e-amuse only feature in japan? If they put that into the machines it'll make playing by sight a LOT easier if they arent able to remove all the lag issues.

"Let's get this movin'"
USB Unlocks:
Maybe implement a local-mode version of e-AMUSE, but using USB sticks.
(Insert the USB, use the pin pad to lock the data, enjoy level, workout and unlocks, even custom courses - all e-amuse features in local mode)
-
Works better than the Unlock Codes, because the progress is caused for the players = more money for OP =)
-
Its good to see the return of the machine rankings. if Enjoy LV uses USB, we will see 2 rankings: the machine ranking and our own ranking. Not the Region ranking - this needs e-amuse.
-
Pad: that pad are awesome. I hope that pad gets a fix, no wood and more resistant to impacts. And in the upgrade, please Big Grin
--
Timing Drift: Watching videos, the drift is not-so-noticed, the game is really playable, even in a crappy X pads.
--
i dunno why in the copyright notice says "USA only" if the game appears in South America countries, like Colombia and Chile.
-
PD: Chile has 1 X cabinet. Colombia has 2 X cabinets. No more countries in South America has DDR X cabinets.
Rena:
By the way, where's my present?

Chile has 2 DDR X cabinets too, the second was put about 2 or 3 months ago. I hope that we will get a DDR X2 cabinet soon here (Chile), obviously, the japanese version xD

"OMG KON!"
I am very happy about the whole DDR X2 cabinet situation right now. My friend has been in contact for a while with Konami/Betson about the problems and options available for the cabinet. Looks like they took his opinions very seriously as well as the feedback from other players.

...does this mean that there can be "special" versions of songs unlocked through Edit mode? Ala SUNKISS DROP English version/Japanese version? And maybe other songs?

Too bad DDR X2 doesn't keep track of the unlocks/accessories/anything like what SN2 and X did Sad This game is just FULL of surprises.

Wow, that Chinese version of NIJIIRO sounds awful. It's more like DJ YOSHITAKA feat. Microsoft Sam.

Also, it appears that bag oni is the same stepchart as the heavy, however, it's the old EXTREME version, meaning unfixed arrows. Pretty cute.
