I am hoping so much Konami will give all regions a fair share of X2. My mind is just exploding with questions on what Konami is planning for this game. There's just too many to list Most of them concern what content Konami will include.

I hope they are still planning that DLC packages for songs from previous versions. It would be neat if Konami released DLC songs of ones that were never included in a North American CS game such as Jupiter and Paranoia Respect.

I don't think either of these would be revived as DLC, given their removal in X AC US. However, if they were to bring back DYNAMITE RAVE, it'd be the version with the new lyrics, in either original ( 12), X Special ( 8) and new ( 10)step flavors.

I think END OF THE CENTURY can be revived, albeit stripped of lyrics. Beethoven's 9th Symphony is in the public domain, so it wouldn't be much of a problem bringing it back as an instrumental.

Oh yes, I forgot about the Dynamite Rave new lyrics.

I don't like the new steps as much tbh. But I still can't wait.

That's pretty much all I can think of for the time being.

Dynamite Rave (at least the old long version) will not happen. I would still want the long version for the new dynamite rave, just
don't put any filler portions (no lyrics, same blank verse, long intro) on it. I'm pretty sure B4U is still safe, even with the cover (it's
not a remix) on the international versions of DDR HP.

The rest are licenses, and not one licensed song has been included in the old Ultramix packs, which blurs the possibility of Konami
including them in this game's DLC. I'll be posting mine when I've thought of a list.

We'll probably be seeing horrible mainstream songs in the default list to be honest. As for DLC, they're most likely just going to be KO's.

The dlc is probably going to follow the footsteps of DDR S/S+ with a bit more variety thrown in. I'm sure well be getting some universe and ultramix songs in to, and maybee even a handfull of new songs

Hey, I wouldn't mind getting some songs from Ultramix 2 / Ultramix 3.

jack and mark get busy was a license, wasnt it? that was on ultramix 2.

and i'm about 99% sure that beside you, me and my friends, and white hot from universe were licensed.

this is about the same as the old "licenses dont repeat" and "licenses dont unlock on CS versions" arguments from several years ago, but people love to overlook boys and i believe in miracles in 1st and 2nd mix, synchronized love in 4th and extra mix, and rhythm and police unlocking in MAX US.

even if i am wrong about those songs being licenses, rules get broken from time to time (although most not in quite a long time) so we wont really know until the game comes out.

Can't forget about the unlockable licenses in Universe 2. Since that seems fairly recent I feel that we may see some downloadable licenses here.

IIRC, I tried to steam over ustream with just wifi and it sucked. 3G would be worse, so I'm probably going to stick to uploading videos on the spot through iMovie to Youtube.

Guys, DDR S+ just got loads of DLC with popular, recognizable licenses. I think the idea about Konami Originals being the only DLC is kinda null and void here now.

I believe all of those licenses (except maybe one) were in DDR X or another DDR at around the same time.

Me And My Friends and White Hot, yes. Dunno about Beside You. Anyway, Me And My Friends was by The Dandy Warhols who did Bohemian Like You and White Hot having licence issues is the only good reason I can think of for it being taken off the Xbox Marketplace.

Beside You was a song from Intuition, who are signed by A Different Drum records, the same people who sign Daybehavior, Neuropa, and some more I'm possibly not remembering right now.

So yes, it is a license.
