This game is a weird one. So many things that are awesome and so many things that are groaners. A real mixed bag.

Congratulations, A Year Without Rain, you have dethroned MAX LOVE as the longest DDR cut in history. :V

I'm not really so much of a fan of Bieber either, but it's wrong to say someone's "misguided" just because they like her music. Whatever catches the ear, I guess. Maybe you're not a fan of her music but that doesn't mean you can slam someone who IS a fan of her music.

Is there any sort of full song list made by anyone yet? I'd be grateful if someone PMs me it.

A quick things of note:

-The game's engine feels just like DDR 2010. It lacks polish, it's simple, not a lot of movement in the interface.
-There are no more specific dance routines for songs. All songs get a randomish dance routine.
-The X2 characters don't feel like X2. They're obviously Hottest Party skeletons with X2 skins as their dances/movements feel very strange.
-For the licenses at least, long versions are just a continuation of the short versions. The charts are repeated heavily through out the song, which is kind of expected given the length of the song and how often certain rhythms/choruses repeat.
-The announcer no longer speaks the song names. No new quotes.
-Most of the charts are of good quality, only a small set are bad (Haunted Rhapsody is one). Unbelievable isn't that great either. There are charts with lots of spins, but they're mostly for slower songs and I was able to AAA sight read with spins, so they're not bad at all.
-Replicant D Action is accessed by AAing 3 songs in a row. It's that simple.
-AAing RDA songs does not unlock them for free play.
-There is no single player campaign.
-There is no new Lesson by DJ.
-There are new outfits for characters, mostly palette swaps.
-Gold Rush only has it's IIDX version

Weren't recolors also the norm for DDR X2 PS2? I remember Queen-Zukin's whitewashed look.

Also, are there really back-up dancers? I saw the vid for unbelievable and I see two solid characters flying alongside jun, and then I see silhouettes on Heartbreak.

For Unbelievable, jun, Naoki and U1 are flying through a tunnel, like in previous mixes for boss songs. For all other songs without a background video, you get 1 character with backup silhouettes.

I will note, I like that the background video is now smaller and to the side. This means now that the video isn't covered up half way by the screen filter.

What songs "force" the character to fly in a tunnel instead of dancing somewhere (aside from unbelievable)?

I'm not sure about this one yet. I believe any song in RDA that doesn't have a background video (so far Unbelievable and 888).

If you were to play a song with it's video on 2 players, the video would by moved to the middle, so some of the lanes will translucently cover the video on both sides.
