This may have been answered before and I do apologize. For the enjoy level unlocks, can they only be unlocked when you have an e-amuse account?

Well, yes. Your "enjoy level" is tied to your eAmuse account in that way. This isn't an issue though since everyone who is anyone that plays any Konami arcade game has one anyways (they are 300 yen and can be used for all eAmuse supported titles, not just the Bemani ones). If you play along side someone that has a number of songs unlocked (but you don't), you can still play them as long as one player has them unlocked.

The only time you might not need one (if playing by yourself) is if, at the end of the X3 lifecycle, the songs are unlocked for free play.

I see. Well I didn't expect it to be cheap though. I just wish they'd sell something like this in other countries but I seriously doubt it, let alone get a Japanese arcade of X3. I expect an Asian version.

Well, for a while on X2, they tried making a few things PASELI-only (The challenge charts for the RDA songs). For a while you could only play them in Marathon mode, and the only way to play Marathon mode was to have an active PASELI account with money in it. That was ultimately unlocked for the general public, though to be honest the ones with the most interest in those charts in this country already played it when it was PASELI exclusive. i.e. Possession got far more play on Difficult than it did on Challenge.

There's another weird bug for X3 Course Mode. Players has been complaining of "Score not saved" before IR#1 started.
I don't really believe it until yesterday, when it happens on me for my IR#2, 5 times in a row
My enjoy level was saved thou & the Data Save screen still indicated "Saved successfully".

Hopefully KONAMI will solve this ASAP. It's kinda frustrating to play a 6 songs course & then the score not saved/registered.

Isn't it just forcing mods onto the X3 stepchart?

The logic is that turning Freeze Arrows off prevents a perfect score so charts without Freeze Arrows would have to be made separately. This was discussed on DDR:UK back when European mixes were being released on the PStwo and the PSone... with and without Freezes respectively.

I believe in DDR X3, when you play those charts in 2ndMIX MODE, it records the score but it won't be 100%.

So in essence it is FREEZE OFF.
