Yup, only 1 week, three days left until the event starts
I wonder...if we can check the internet around to see if someone/game newsletter/employee might leak us some info before the event starts >_>

Would be awesome to meet the infamous Pie
, I'll have my iPhone 4 with me and will get as much stuff as i can, i should be able to load stuff on youtube at the event, heck, I could probably stream it live over 3G.
this is all assuming i can go, which I can probably just hop on the metrolink and do it no problem.

If you want to stream it live, you should do a "pre-stream" test to see if it will work for streaming online...if not, then just upload videos while your at the event then

Okay, so yet again, they only mention it for the PS3...
I'm praying for an XBOX360 release here.

lol wow, this thread became one of the least visited in the past months, to the most visited in only a few minutes XP
so then, speculation time!
I think that this may be a direct port off of DDR X2 AC, it may be an almost exact port, or a "closer than KOA can get to" port of DDR X2 AC.
I also have a feeling that the Edit Mode may be able to sync with the arcade mode if they took the suggestion from the players about making the Edits on the PS2/PS3 and putting them into the AC machine.

Maybe you'll be able to download other peoples' edits online?
Maybe I'm just fantacizing.

That would be AMAZING, it would be cool to share your step-charts with the world

I also hope its a port of the arcade, with a few addiitons like some repeats and such thrown in.
Are we still getting 150 DLC? thats my question hahahaha, hopefully they will tell us.
Hopefully we will also get more then 80 songs on disc *sigh* wouldn't that be nice :/

Are we still getting customizable theme templates?
And I also saw another thing- the groove radar "overlapped" itself (like the Ultramix and Universe series) so each difficulty is on at the same time. I hope they do something about that... honestly.
EDIT: And another thing- does anyone know whether they're using the old or new foot rating scale?

Bummer, no pie. Any other ZIVers? I'm still entertaining the notion this game is going to be a port of X2 since it's original trailer proved to look like what X2 morphed into.

I'm a bit worried about this. Because if they port all the content of X2 AC, then the game will have nothing interesting left to give.I don't want another X AC and X CS JP.

They would probably give us the X2 licenses, the HP3 licenses, and the X2 PS2/HP3 KO's, and give the rest to us as (free?) DLC.

LONG POST ALERT
Anyway, who wants to predict some DLC?
If they use dancemania licenses and if you have to pay for DLC:
1st mix:
Have You Never Been Mellow (probably one of the biggest classics ever)
Make It Better (just cuz, and because Konami seems to like it so much)
Paranoia (Yeah... no real explanation needed)
Trip Machine (read Paranoia)
Maybe's:
Butterfly (because it's so popular in the arcade, but they may use the 2008 edit)
Kung Fu Fighting (so popular outside of DDR)
That's the Way (I Like It) (Read Kung Fu Fighting)
2nd mix:
AM3P (Kinda like Make It Better, it's really well-liked by Konami)
Boom Boom Dollar (really popular, like Butterfly)
Brilliant 2U (same as others)
If You Were Here (revived in the arcade, possibly in this version also)
Paranoia Max (Dirty Mix) (because it's Paranoia, duh)
Paranoia Kcet (Clean Mix) (Because it's Paranoia, duh)
Put Your Faith in Me (Seems to get revived a lot, usually home-release wise, and on DDR S+)
SP-Trip Machine (Jungle Mix) (It's a trip machine... so yeah, seems like a good choice.)
Maybe's:
Boys (unnecessary really, they revived it in X, they might put in the 2008 edit however)
Brilliant 2U (orchestra groove) (they might do something with this, it's kinda a trade-off between this and the original B2U)
Dub-I-Dub (read Boys)
El Ritmo Tropical (fairly popular, IIRC)
Get Up N' Move (read Boys)
Hero (read Boys)
Make A Jam (has Konami Code, was old jingle, why not? It's not like they're paying for it anyway...)
Make It Better (So Real Mix) (same as B2UOG, about the remix part with the original)
Put Your Faith In Me (Jazzy Groove) (same as before)
Stomp To My Beat (seemed fairly popular in MAX US, still fairly random revival-wise though)
3rd Mix:
20, November (DDR Edition) (because... well... it's DDR. Surprised that it wasn't in Extreme AC though...)
Afronova (it's a given)
Captain Jack Grandale (it was in AC, so it may be here)
Dam Dariram (Read CJ)
Dead End (was fairly popular AC-wise, so possibly)
Dynamite Rave (One of the most popular KO's to date)
End of the Century (like Dynamite Rave)
Gradiusic Cyber (AMD G5 Mix) (Well, I don't see why they wouldn't...)
La Senorita (imagine if they also had Consuela in this game... XD)
Operator (come on... it's Papaya... you can't have a DDR game without her... and it's awesome)
Paranoia Rebirth (okay, no explanation here)
Maybe's:
Boom Boom Dollar K.O.G. mix thingy (depending on if they have the original, and whether they want to or not I guess)
Butterfly Upswing Mix (same as Boom Boom Dollar)
Gentle Stress (Sensual Mix) (It's been there for a while but hasn't really been revived much from what I know, still popular though)
In The Navy '99 (It's one of Captain Jack's best, revived in MAX2 US)
Keep On Movin' (depending on if they use the new version, which they probably will)
Let Them Move (It's N.M.R, never was very popular though, and the vocal makes me sick...)
Silent Hill (I just feel like it may be there for some reason...)
If I feel like updating this later I may. Thanks for reading it at least though.

"Charlie isn't real" |
...one sad thing about this news though...
...Konami didn't even mention WHERE this event will take place! But i'm going to take a wild guess and say that we will get that info as the day draws closer...
Ummmmm a bit weirded out though that the 360 version isn't going to be on display here...would this really mean that the 360 version of DDR is DanceMasters? I highyl doubt it but...eh >_>
As for DLC ideas: DDR X2 AC and DDR S/S+ will pretty much give us a clue as to what kind of songs we will be seeing from each DDR pack
