There could still be one and my local GameStop hasn't received their's yet, so if I find out anything out, I'll post it. But with the way they released the last V-rares, I have a feeling it would be something similar.

I hope so, although there's a chance they'd still be the original if they haven't already appeared on a US home version. The ones we've seen so far were already on DDR USA, and the rule is that licenses can't be repeated within a region.

Huh? AFAIK, Butterfly and Hero have never appeared on any US PS or PS2 games.

I thought Butterfly was in DDR for PS1. I guess not.

From what I remember, Butterfly was supposed to be in DDR PS, but its data was disabled before release. It's still in the game disc, though.

Yeah, everything was on the DDR USA disc, but it wasn't playable. Probably due to licensing issues. You can hack it in however.

Edit Mode was the same way. It was built in, but they took it out at the very last minute. You can access it by using a Gameshark code though.

Just throwing this out there, but wouldn't it be PA-PA-PA PERFECT!!! if Something Wonderful was in DDR X ?

Butterfly was on Ultramix 3, so the rule still applies.

YAY I just reserved DDR X at my gamestop today! And I put 9 dollars on it. I'm so excited, now all I have to do is wait, and then go and pick it up on the 17th. The guy said that they will be sold on the 17th so thats good, and said that he was looking forward to it.

But Hero's never been in a US game.

Plus licenses have been repeated in Japan lots of times. Look at BEST HITS and Party Collection.

Same with Witch Doctor We really should get that song in this game, and if I remember correctly that it was in Party Collection as a licenses, and so far all we've been getting all licenses on Party Collection so far. So hopefully that song gets confirmed. I'm just glad that there keeping the previous DDR songs quiet, I could care about the Bemani and Konami new songs.

Oh yeah! Witch Doctor! It would be great to have that. I'm still hoping for some miracle to happen that will let SAINT GOES MARCHING (REMIX) to appear on DDR X, but who knows...

but thats the purpose of best hits and party collection, to be a "revival" kind of game with the most popular repeat licenses and KOs, plus 5.1.1.

a better example would be boys and i believe in miracles being in 1st CS and 2nd CS.

as a general rule, licenses stick to their first CS appearance for that region so konami doesnt have to pay to use them again. its not like the arcade where its ONE game, you can swap discs to play old licenses at home.

It's like the 'rule' people made up that KOs can't appear in more than two US PS/PS2 game. They just like to disregard DDR USA in that rule.

what? i've never heard of that "rule", no offense(as you usually form coherent thoughts, and present valid points) but it honestly sounds like you just made it up. i remember people saying when max2 US came out that AM-3P was one of the few songs to join the "3 appearances" club, same when dynamite rave showed up in extreme 2.
