It's going to be hitting 85 over here and my white ass thinks that's 'a bit much'.

Well Oni-91, we have endurable ac units, backyard pools almost everywhere, and an oasis of waterparks including one that has been in operation for almost half a century! And it's tradition in my family that we go there at least once per summer!

I have an AC unit at face level. This is sufficient.

While I do have my complaints about summer heat, down here in Florida, it has been raining non-stop for over one week every day. It's good for us Floridians since we did have a drought with no rain for some time, but the rain causes problems at home and on the road. (especially in the damn Interstate 4 corridor) Rain can sometimes essentially double travel time because of the weather coupled with terrible Florida drivers and accidents backing up traffic for miles. That's how I came back late from my latest arcade visit so darn late. Florida is a state the generates so many polarizing opinions, just like the weather. I find that sorta funny.

It's great when I only have to go there for 2 weeks at a time. I think if I had to live there it'd be a different story.

I've lived there my entire life and literally I just brush off anything that comes my way within the state.

I didn't need to evacuate, I live very far inland within the state. I also had to shelter a few friends from the storm too.

I decided to last go on holiday to Orlando in the middle of Gustav. That was...an event.

Hey, last day for you too? Awesome! In a little bit, I'm actually going to be paying another visit to my grandmother in Hawaii! I'll get to check that DDR A machine at the local D&B again. Hopefully, the Beatmania IIDX machine in Jungle Fun is functioning again...

If I remember correctly, I started becoming active on this site during my prior trip to my grandmother's. Happy summer, everyone! It's overcast and dank as heck here, though...

It's weird for me to think that people get out of school this late. I got out for the year about 3 weeks ago.
Then again I tend to go back faster then others do, I think. Kansas is weird.

Well I'm in the middle, because I got out of school last week.
