New page new dreams...
I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 today and it was good! It was pretty funny by my standards and ever since the first movie came out my boy Rocket never disappointed me again! Oh and there was a couple parts that I loved that included Starlord taking on the form of Pac-Man [!] and Yondu declaring that he's Mary Poppins
. And speaking of which, Dick Van Dyke is coming to Phoenix Comicon this year and I'm more excited than ever! It's happening on the Memorial Day weekend and I can let my excitement down!

On the topic of alcoholic drinks, what's the general consensus here on kombucha? I like it, but my entire family makes fun of me for it. It may not be legally alcoholic (somtimes it is, but it still isn't much), but it is on a technicality...

You would have to let it ferment for a crazy amount of time before it would have a notable alcohol content %. I think it's a nice alternative to drinking alcohol for people that don't like the taste of beer, but I think most of the time you could just drink tea that isn't fermented.

Oh, right. Today marks TWO YEARS since I clicked on that Pop'n Music video on YouTube, and later found myself falling down the rabbit hole into a wonderland of BEMANI happiness...and I'm surprised this BEMANI phase is lasting for as long as it is
Usually my "phases" of interests die out and I get interested in new things...yet, with this, it's still standing strong even though I'm finding interest in other things.
This site and DeviantArt are to thank for helping my BEMANI obsession stay as strong as it is, and I don't think I'm going to lose interest in BEMANI any time soon since with each year comes new and exciting games and oodles of great songs!

The second reason why I love it is because of the gameplay - like DDR (which I'd say is tied with Reflec Beat for being my 2nd favorite BEMANI game), the gameplay is straightforward and simple to learn, but the advantage Pop'n has is its wide rating scale. I'd say Pop'n is a bit easier to "master". The third reason I love it so much is because of the wide variety of music - there are songs of almost every genre you could think of in Pop'n.
Why Alt?:
There are MANY reasons why I'm obsessed over Alt (and Alt 2.0). First of all, even if she and Alt 2.0 didn't have a voice (like most of the Pop'n characters), I would still love them. They are just too cute. I mean, seriously. The fact that Alt has the little arrow keys on her dress and the mouse/pocketbook are utterly adorable. I also really love Alt 2.0's outfits. Granted, I wouldn't be AS obsessed over them (I would probably just view them as "just another Pop'n character", like back in 2010-2012 when I was kinda into DDR and Pop'n) --- as it's the fact that they SING and aren't really just Pop'n characters in that sense is what made me REALLY obsessed. Seeing songs credited to "seiya-murai feat.ALT" in other BEMANI games made me feel amazed - the characters were more like music artists than just random characters, and that got me pretty hooked. Besides, their robot voice is pleasant to listen to and fits perfectly with Alt (and Alt 2.0). It's cute and computer-y, just like them!

Wow.. I cannot believe this. I won a scholarship valued at $3,750 CAD from my university, a scholarship awarded to a student who has completed the first 90 credits in my major and has achieved the highest academic standing.

Congrats NewbStepper. Speaking of higher education, I had my commencement ceremony two days ago. While I finished my Associates back in December, it still allowed me to participate in the ceremony.
