Guys, my phone has been starting to show "warning signs" that I'm going to need a new phone soon...
It's been doing what I can best describe as having spasms.
Lines of pixels at the top of the phone get stretched, the top of the screen fades to black or white, the screen shakes erratically making me unable to touch anything...
These spasms have been happening randomly and scaring me sometimes, though fortunately they really only happen on my lock screen and go away once I manage to unlock the phone.

Whenever I get my new phone, I'll be so relieved and so happy

Have you tried to do a factory reset on your phone?

Apparently the problem was not in the software, but rather in the screen connectors getting loose; if I push down hard at the top of the screen until I hear a "pop", then the spasms go away.

I'm still going to get a new phone, though, since I've been using this same one for two years already...

I've been using the same phone for over three years and I've never had an issue with it.

I don't know if that means I'm special or I'm just really freakin' stupid.

This phone COULD have lasted me for a long time had it not have had those screen connector-related spasms yesterday which seem to be very late side effects of me dropping it on the floor months ago...but I've also wanted a new phone since last year due to the fact that the one I currently use only has 5 gigabytes of space...4.9 of which are already taken up by the few apps, 300-ish pictures, and FOUR songs on there.

So, I'm kind of glad that it's on its last leg, since that'll mean I get a new phone sooner...and I was promised 64 GB on the new one. I'm going to need that much space for what I want on there...

I've been filling out job applications for too long today and now my mood is shot.

I think many bemani games could fit into this category that this video talks about. Building lasting friendships is something arcade settings could be great for.

I spend my life doing nothing but work, exercise and games. I am almost never in my own house anymore. My typical workweek day is wake up, run to work late, get in like 8:45-9, work until 6:30, go to the gym, play DDR at D&B until 10-11 or so, then go home, go to sleep, repeat. I know this is feeling like an unbalanced lifestyle. I need to start spending more time at home and taking care of things. I have also not streamed on Twitch consistently in a while. But anyway I finally got to a point with work where I was really happy working and enjoying what i was doing, which i am in right now.

If you're happy with your job and free time, that's awesome. But of course, you might want to allocate some at-home time during your days off from work. Just once a week should be enough to clean up, do errands, and get a bit of relaxation in. But yeah, I kinda have that lifestyle- Wake up, go to school, play videogames, go to bed. Of course, I imagine I would have an easier time cleaning and organizing stuff if I lived on my own. But with that, comes responsibilities I'm not yet prepared for...

So, I finally got a chance to play DDR A today.

...And holy crap I suck at playing in the arcade. Normally I can play multiple 15's and 16's in one session at home no problem, but I ended up failing halfway through Rising Fire Hawk halfway through the song due to pure exhaustion. I expected my accuracy to be crap since I use SM's default timing windows at home and not the arcade's timing windows, but I don't think I should have gotten that tired on a 14. Does anybody else have that problem or am I just weird or something?

Meanwhile the guy before me passed True Blue on Extra Stage like it was nothing. I actually feel kind of embarrassed.

Dude, the first time I transitioned from console to arcade was like jumping into a whole new world...

I could pass a lot of 17s and some 18s on the console but in arcade...
Fuck no!
I had to work at passing a lot of 12s to 13s.
Orion.78 was the biggest pain in the ass when it came to passing 13s on the arcade.
As for MAX 300...
shoot...
It took me a while to fight exhaustion before I could finally pass it...

Even now I'm still getting my ass kicked by much more exhausting arcade DDR is vs console DDR.
