Time for a potentially philosophical question...

I've noticed that there is a big bridge between "not bad' and "good". Is there a problem if you aren't satisfied with "not bad"?

Say when it comes to games, whether it be the ones this website is dedicated to or others. Or maybe something else like architecture. Do you consider it important to be very good at what you do, even if that gives you more trouble than it's worth? Or are you simply content with not being bad as long as you do your best?

If you were never satisfied with perfection, then things get tiring. Perfectionism isn't fun, especially when it's driven by external forces. Usually, it's best to do your best. But sometimes, putting more than your everything into everything can be extremely draining. Personally, I treat life and gaming the same way- It's fun to go for high scores and PFCs some of the time. But sometimes, you gotta pull back, take a deep breath, and play a round of no-bar Dynamite Rave Air Special just to cool off.

So a huge storm just hit town, and school was canceled due to damage. The power is out here, the wind is blowing hard, and I think I see a fallen tree outside. I'd take this as an opportunity to work on simfiles, but I forgot to charge my computer overnight...

I feel very excited for this upcoming weekend. Reason is because I'm going to see KC and the Sunshine Band in concert tomorrow! And strangley enough I liked them not because they are awesome but have 3 tracks in the DDR series. Maybe I should go play DDR before the concert and get in a very happy mood...

For those who don't know, there has been a terrorist attack in Stockholm. A truck started speeding at Drottninggatan, ramming everyone and everything in its path... I happened to see the whole incident but managed to take cover in a nearby store. Unharmed, yet in a severe shock.
