I love how DDR A is more EDM than the past versions. Most of the new songs doesn't feel that "bemani" but we get more traditional EDM/Electronic/Hardstyle songs.

I don't love that. At all. It's already gotten stale and it only started around X2/X3...

Hey, it just occurred to me, none of the songs in DDR A (except arguably Poochie) arbitrarily double the tempo (a la PR, DEGRS, Trigger, VDO, PTF, MAX. (period), OT'P') as a means of increasing the reading difficulty (a couple arbitrarily halve it (Illegal Function Call, S!ck), which is annoying, but it's not "oh hey, read 90% of the chart on a lower speed mod because of one part), which is interesting, and actually kind of nice because screw having to read most of a chart on a sub-optimal speed mod to read one part :V

(inb4 the next Extra Exclusive screws that up)

I have a feeling that this song will be almost constant speed and the Expert chart would not have any really long 16th streams. Or maybe it has a slowdown, but without too many arrows crammed in one measure.

EDIT: Or maybe it could have some long streams, if the song runs at around 140 BPM.

There are a couple tricky afronova steps and 12ths, but it's not too bad. Although I don't know how to feel about this wave of lvl. 16 boss songs; this song in particular felt comparable to some 15's.

Emera S- is probably one of the easiest 16 I've seen, along with Engraved Mark . There's quite a lot of twisting, but there's nothing that fast until near the end of the song, and even then, the patterns are still fairly standard. There's some sideways gallops toward the end similar to Pierce The Sky or Electric Dance System Music S-, and all other patterns are very easy to decipher. There's no real death runs in the chart, either.

Like coolpeaches wrote, I would not mind if they rated this chart a 15 (I personally would have).

It sounds like a typical PON song from IIDX (much like NPC world but with more WUBWUB), is not his greatest song but im ok with this i guess.

I don't like the last 20 seconds of that song.

I thought they usually add other songs when they update the Extra Exclusive folder.

Not really, they announce other songs with Extra Exclusive songs on Benama, but they get released on a different date.

Emera was a disappointment. The vocals are so repetitive and awkward, and the sounds are all over the place with awkward mastering. It's really just a boring and repetitive song. Worst Extra Exclusive so far. I really tried to like it too. Listened to it several times and it just isn't hitting the spot.

Come to Life > New Century > Rising Fire Hawk > Astrogazer > Emera

And while I'm on this note I feel FLOWER challenge should be re-rated 16

This, uh... no thanks. Kouen , Cosmic Hurricane , IMANOGUILTS , Beautiful Dream , Straight Oath , just to name a few, are all harder than FLOWER . (There's about 20~30 more I want to put here). This is especially true on Doubles.
