How so?

No arcade in my area has any DDR game anymore, not even the Playtime at Crown has one, the closest I really have is Supernova 2 on the Ps2 and Stepmania 5

Some places have really been hit by a DDR drought. My town's closest Rhythm game is a Pump-It-Up cab. at a local Family Fun Center. If you want legitimate DDR action in my house, you have to trek out for a 45 minute drive to Orland Park, where DDR Ace is.

Happy 20th Anniversary to Mario Kart 64

All the places in my town which had DDR cabs as far as I know either closed or retired them, and while I've heard rumors that there's an Extreme machine at the local casino, I don't think a 17 and 13 year old are going to get away with checking it out. I live in the middle of nowhere, meanwhile, and the closest arcades are mostly a 5-hour drive up to Portland... Not that there are even very many up there. At least you're next to a PIU machine- I've never seen one of those, and they almost feel mythical. Like IIDX, Jubeat and Pop'n.

Man, it sucks being an arcade rhythm game player in Oregon. At least I travel a lot. Traveling and hunting down DDR machines and stuff is fun. I'll be visiting my cousins in Scottsdale, AZ soon, and I hear there's another DDR A up there.

I had a lot of fun skiing yesterday! I'm still a beginner, but think I've gotten a lot better at it while practicing during yesterday's trip. The weather was just perfect for it too; it snowed heavily in the two days prior, and it wasn't windy. I hope I can go down higher trails next time I go!

My friend KowalskiPenguin10897 knows exactly how you're feeling, since he also lives in that state... I hope you have fun when you visit your cousins in Arizona though!

I think it's mostly for people like me, who jumped on the Nintendo train late. My earliest Nintendo console is a Wii, so I'm missing out on 4 whole generations of gaming goodness that I'd have never been able to try myself. Also, Earthbound. Before they released it, no one could ever try Earthbound without buying a copy for >$100. It's not exactly a sales game changer, but it's good added incentive.
Although Earthbound is enough of a reason to buy the console in itself.
