IIDX Accomplishment Thread

i don't know how I did these following songs. I think it's because it's the last day of August.

Cleared AA [h].
Cleared tripping contact (T&MC remix) [h].
Cleared Nageki No Ki [h].

How I BS'ed the scales in NNK, I have no idea. This does mean that I cleared all of the hypers on DistorteD though.

AND I STILL CAN'T CLEAR SCREAM SQUAD HYPER.

I have only one 10 left to clear in DistorteD. Clears on AA, tripping contact (t&mc remix), SSS [h], This is Love, hard 10's etc. have been very close to 80%.

Only one stands in my way. Oddly enough, getting an A on it is easy for me. Clearing it however, sucks. HC is out of the question as well.

That uber chord section drops my meter to 2%. The ending keeps me from getting any kind of meter building going on at the end. Ugh. I actually like the song too.

I got to waxing and wanding [a] (the last song) on 9th DAN. I can't even get to the middle to be destroyed by the ending. One of the first 10's that played mind games on Hyper is now standing between me and a ahead-of-schedule 9th DAN clear.

Tried it again and failed in the middle of the last measure of that damn song.

My Beatmania controller would most likely end up in my TV if something happened like that. It almost happened when I failed on the last note of FPoH [h] in 7th Dan.

Oh yeah. Cleared quasar [a] not more than 15 minutes ago.

I need to get back into IIDX some more. I need to get more 10's under my belt since I'm convinced the ones I am clearing (Little Little Princess, Sakura, Kachoufusetsu, Contract, and SCREAM SQUAD [hard clear]) are easier 10's.

That means you made it a few seconds farther than me in 9-dan. I probably failed in the last four or eight measures (twice)

Also, 2 tribe 4 k [b] isn't that bad if you try it, especially if you could handle Be OK [b] (2 tribe 4 k is the non-12 black another you haven't cleared, right?)

I'm starting to think that I'll HC Time to Air [A] before I normal clear it. But first I need to make it past Measure 46. Then all that will be left for DJT 11s is Pluto, switch, Saturn, and Do It! Do It! (most of which have very annoying charts)

I also need to get the scratches on the end of Troopers [b] on mirror so it can be my first black another 12 (since spiral galaxy probably won't be it and Mental Meltdown seems to get harder after each set of all-white chords)

EDIT:
I feel a little annoyed that I never tried to Hard Clear Scream Squad [H], since I didn't clear it until after I cleared the [A]. I even cleared the Hyper with less life ([H] 82%, [A] 84%). And this was after I cleared moon_child [A], and the same day I beat HS 8-dan and 9-dan.

Yeah it's the only non-12 [b] left for me. The ending is giving me more annoyance than it should though.

That's five 12s done so far.

What 12s have you cleared? I know you beat Icarus before me, and you have Innocent Walls [A] rather than [H] (according to S3). It could probably help me figure out which 12s I might want to try next, since you seem to beat them in a rather different order.

I've cleared (in order as far as I remember) Innocent Walls [H], Setsugekka, Concertino in Blue, Troopers [A], Colors, A, one or eight, moon_child, Scream Squad, and Icarus [A].

Other than Sakura and the ones you mentioned, I also got Go Beyond (which has an easy end) and Due Tomorrow (mash it properly and it's easily passable).
I can tell from your list that scratch songs are you specialty, and I'm honestly not that good at them.

I don't know how and I'm pretty sure this doesn't mean my first 12 clear will come anytime soon but I cleared 9th DAN. Holy crap what a clear. I got to SCREAM SQUAD on my first try and beat it with 16% on my second try.

I'm pretty sure that anything past this version has a devastating 9th so I'll enjoy this premature 9th DAN pass. W&W still owns me.

I've tried for god knows how long to unlock the SCREAM SQUAD ES but it doesn't look like I can do it. I've found my 10 to AA and ever since yesterday, I can AA it with little trouble. AA'ed it in Standard, then found out I had to Hard clear it as well.

Today I found out that I can AA In the Sky [h] and I can Hard Clear In the Sky [h] with like 10% left. However, I can't AA and Hard Clear In the Sky [h] at the same time. The longer I played, my EX score and my survival time shortened dramatically. Yesterday, I could 80% PGreat the long stream in the middle. Now, I get Good glitched.

I've seem to lost my power over that particular song so... I need to find a new one.

4th 10-dan done.

2 tribe 4 k [b] 76% and 72%. Troopers [h] (my last hyper 10) 78% twice.

I found out that I can dan-clear Uber [a], starting with only 10% and ending with ~30% in Training Mode. HOWEVER, MENDES [h] just sits there and ravages me without trying. Out of 50 attempts, I cleared it twice. That's with my normal gauge going into MENDES [h] which is 26%.

I did however clear POODLE [a]. Yay.

By the way, in the sky isn't a 10 anymore either. It's a 7/9/11 in Troopers AC, just like how Lovely Storm in a 10 (though that one made it back to console) and Inori [N] is a 6 (though it was a 3 in RED CS).

It's listed as a 10 in Happy Sky so I assume it would be eligible for ES in that game. >.>

Oh yeah. Found out that I can dan-clear Uber [a] with 6% now. Once again, MENDES [h] beginning. Nuff said.

Who's idea was it to cram 1000 notes in the beginning of all the difficulties in MENDES? I would kill someone if the song didn't at least sound awesome to my ears.

Actually cleared TROOPERS [h] with a border bonus. A clear's a clear.

Found out what the 3rd song is in 9th Dan Gold. I swear I have this ability to play JSB songs. Smile [a] crushed me. No need to try VANESSA [a]. >.>

Trust me, by the time you live past Mendes [H] in 8-dan, you will not have the slightest problem at Ubertreffen. That was also the last 8-dan I cleared (from 9th to DJT) as well. 9-dan on Troopers is The Deep Striker [A], Spica [A], Time to Air [A], and spiral galaxy [b]. The last song in there actually isn't as unreasonable as it seems, as by the time you beat 8-dan, you probably will be able to handle most of the song.

Also, Gold's 9-dan is probably the hardest 9-dan out of them all, probably only comparable to Red's. Red's has Genocide's easy ending though (which I haven't made it to), while Vanessa has a harder ending, and Troopers' I've made it within about 8 measures of passing twice.

FELMDemon iirc the 10 needs to be an another, so in the Sky [h] wouldn't qualify anyways.

I don't know, but out of the themed games I found RED's 9-dan the easier one along with HS.

In all honesty I think DJT's harder than Gold, as the 11s in Gold 9-dan are not that difficult to me, which leaves me more life to take on Vanessa, while the 11s in DJT 9-dan are harder, leaving me less life to struggle through the beginning of spiral galaxy, and even when I get to the middle and gain life, the ending is just hard to read.

UPDATE: I just cleared DJT 9-dan. All 9-dans (except 10th because I don't have that) cleared so far.

Well, if you don't suck at Blocks' ending and Genocide's beginning, I guess Red's 9-dan wouldn't be that hard.

Also, I suck at smile, and it's the the only 11 other than Sense 2007 I have left to clear on Gold, so I don't have a lot of life when I get to Vannessa (but I think it's more than I tend to get to Genocide with).

Meanwhile, I don't suck at Spica or Time to Air, and I finish Time to Air with about 60% if I remember correctly, but the 200 misses I tend to get on spiral galaxy are a little too many to live through the song.

And now you're far ahead of me again, since I've only got 4 of 7 available 9-dans.
