Well that's it for me, it was fun while it lasted. Good luck to the rest of the competitors.

I don't know HOW I finished this anywhere close to on time.
I really did give this one my all. In fact, it's actually why last week's was a little late.
Was it worth it? Of course not
but at least the stuff can and probably will be re-used.
All art (except the city skyline) (c) TaroNuke
As you'd expect from a TaroNuke file - download the custom zip.
EDIT: This file will not work in StepMania 5. Only 3.9 and OpenITG.
MASSIVE EDIT: SM5 NOW SUPPORTED, with aspect ratio detection AND step feedback.
It is now recommended you play this in SM5.
Ama-tan's winning animation will show up if player 2 is joined. (As with Taro for Player 1)
Your move, Oni-91.
Special thanks to DMAxel for knowing way too much about Pop'n, and being a great consultant

This pretty much sums up my opinion. Trumps Bamboo on Bamboo in sheer ridiculousness, and looks pretty damn fun to play too.

Also, those pop'n-style character animations are very cute.

REVIEW TIME (Don't need to re-review if Oni Enters because he's my opponent)
Ray of Illuminati:
I like how despite having played this song at least 40 times on Technika 2, the fake ending STILL gets me.
It is an interesting chart, and at times I'd say it's not an 8, but I'm not sure.
I've never been a fan of those floating 16th things (i.e. beat 74, beat 150), but they're not so bad as to be intrusive here.
Wouldn't have done beat 189 like that but it works (on the 2nd playthrough lol)
Stuff like measure 33 and what it leads into were really enjoyable. Overall good file.
Wind of Gold:
Wow, this file was legit @_@ I don't want to have to choose one now...
I'm kind of leaning towards it... Though I would probably feel bad if you won...
It was simpler than Tel's, and I liked that, but it also seemed sloppier in places (beat 160?)
It also had floating 16ths done right, and by that I mean they weren't as hard to follow
because it's like they're the main part of the song, and are repeated for longer.
Banner sucked compared to Tel's (though it wasn't bad, better than some of mine lmao)
but the BG (if you changed/got rid of/fixed the text) was great!
Drive Out:
I've been awake for long enough without sleep, I do not need additional help.
That's what I would have said if I were going by preview and the fact that it was rated 6 alone.
This was a lot better than I thought it'd be, with the exception of the fact that you faced upLeft for
at least 80% of the song (could have used more upRight facing, even if it still didn't have crossovers)
Still, it was simple, the rhythms and hold placement were actually decent, and it was a massive, massive
improvement over Forever Loving. Looks like you've successfully beaten nobody.
Even though my opponent didn't submit, I'd still like to hear what people liked and didn't like about Apple Butter :{
Apple Butter (TaroNuke) - 0 (incase Oni enters something)
NULL (Oni-91) - N/A
Ray Of Illuminati (Telperion) - 0 (don't hate us)
The Wind of Gold (Pandemonium X) - 1
Drive Out - 1
NULL (Noone) - 0

Oh, I just came back from a road trip with a certain Tyma. We travelled around the country playing DDR :V
He told me to tell you he's fine now, but he was in hospital for his bad kidneys
He'll be back this or next week.
We also played Jubeat while driving. It was totally safe!

I would have stepped something, but Team Last Minute Rush had to be abandoned because I was at a family party all weekend. Sorry about that, but I don't have anything, sadly.

I dunno, I don't have anything to vote on really. More detailed reviews coming tomorrow if I have time, which I probably won't.
Apple Butter gets a pop'n/10 would play again.
Drive Out was OK, but sixes in general are too boring for me and I don't have anything especially constructive to say
The Wind Of Gold is pretty good. I don't agree with how the patterning relates to the music in a couple spots, but the rhythms are 99% spot on and overall the file is quite fun.

Anyway it's time for the Finals. Both Taro and Tel are going to be mods for the Summer Contest, so this is mostly for bragging rights. Do your best you 2.

Wow, Pandy, you didn't need to kill yourself like that
I would've accepted the vote
Anyway, how does the final work? I really don't feel like making 3 files in a single week if no-one will play them (like the last tournament of immortals thing's final)
