The theme WILL have a songpack made for it I already mentioned that before.
As for the banners, this is what I'm talking about. This is what will happen when you use a classic banner. It will be superimposed over a fallback album I made. The album banners for this theme will be in HD so it's higher than 256x256.

Yes. 512x512. At least that way none of the albums will pixelate with those dimensions.

Will 256x256/8 CD Covers be shown as the whole banner, or will they also be placed in proportion with the fallback?

another question, is it possible to play the preview of the highlighted music as soon as the music is highlighted? It will be nice if that will be implemented. (I mean, in DDR pre-X and in StepMania, we must wait 1 second to play the preview)

Actually, it depends on the computer for StepMania. Certain computers seem to run the preview almost instantly, which is weird since they're slow in everything else.

Well actually the theme metrics allow you to set a delay for the music preview to play, but no computer I have seen so far can run the preview instantly when the delay is set to zero. It makes sense since it has to load the song then skip to the preset start position then calculate when it needs to fade out. That's a fair bit of processing to do.
From what I know though, SN2 stored its music previews as a separate file with its fade out already added in. I'm pretty sure the rest of the games do the same.

@DDR Addict: I don't think so, because the music select in SMOL works that way. (instantly play the preview when we highlight it)

All DDR games have a small audio file for each song's preview. I think at one point someone noticed that a few previews actually sounded slightly different from the actual songs

I don't think 256x256 banners would be centered on the fallback banner but we went with 512x512 as the default size so that way the covers won't pixelate or look jagged on the song select screen and this theme is HD so 512x512 would fit that better.

Is the DDR X2 standard ES/OMES system also implemented here?

ah, I forgot to mention "standard ES/OMES system with lives". I mean like, if you get 980.000++, you'll get 4 lives, etc.

How about Select Option menu? I mean an Option menu to set speed/arrow colors/etc, not an option to setup Stepmania itself

Everytime i come to this thread, my eyes have an orgasm.
So it's time to say something. Your work looks so pro guys. It's so clean and beautifull, i could watch the background all day (and the other stuff fits so well).
I'll get SM5 just to play with this theme.

On X2 AC, you are given 4 lives on Extra Stage, no questions asked. Get 951,000 score, you still get 4 lives.
