Nice to hear hands and balance board support are back.

Where in the video did it say that? I was only able to watch it once so I may have missed it.

I would have preferred new boss songs.

I've always loved We Are Heros and it would be really cool if there was a song that the background video was them dancing to it.

Just a heads up everyone...The "We Are Heroes" is just a promotional gag. This not an official song at all...One heads up, if you notice the video, it's the song "Sacred Oath" but changed to say "We Are Heroes".

Maybe we will get a nice amount of X2 AC crossovers, and some more bosses from that game. That would be awesome.

Over than 50 songs that Konami promised for DDR II.

For better result, less licences (around 10 songs), some new Konami Original for DDR II (20 songs +) ,

more X2 ARC songs and old songs like Afronova , etc (30 songs + ).

Better Lesson Mode songs separated into DDR School Mode, not counted as main songs.

About 1:36 into the video he mentions that "even though there is the hands and Wii Balance Board", something along those lines.

Tilt your head to the right to see the smilie

The charts look very average and mediocre, something that should never come out of a company who has been working on the game for over a decade.* They will not fix the charts. Do not get your hopes up. Look forward to their AC debut with better charts, however.

* - I am aware there have been different step authors throughout the years, but that shouldn't change the standard of quality. heh, quality.

Dude, just HOW HARD do you want the charts to be? A cluster-bomb of 50 million arrows each?! D8; The song in the video looked quite hard to me, and it lasted almost 4 minutes didn't it? The long versions of songs should be more than a good challenge!

It's not difficulty, it's that the step patterns are awkward and are lazily copied and pasted all over the place. It's 4 minutes, sure, but the latter half of the song is nothing you didn't already play in the first 2 minutes. The steps don't flow, they're boring, and it just overall doesn't look like much fun.

Um... the Long version songs should be not more than 5 songs. Because DDR X before , XMix itself feels like Long version too. Confused

Xmixes ARE long versions. That's why you can only play them on second to last stage (IIRC), and that is counted as FINAL STAGE.

However, they can put as many long versions as they like. I don't see myself playing that. Unless that long version is a merged-to-one EVOLVED song lol

That Doubles Heavy video I was linked to earlier had repeating steps too. D: And it looked fun to me.

According to U1, apparently DDR II doesn't (currently) have endless mode and club mode (from PS3).

What did those modes do again?

Endless mode -> Play til you fail
Club mode -> Somewhat like a combination of endless and nonstop mode with slightly rearranged musics....

Correct me if I am wrong...

Club Mode is more like Dance Magic mode from Disney Rave.

You start the first song on Basic, and at a certain combo, the chart chanes to the Trick chart, and then to the Maniac chart. If you break combo, it shifts down a chart, until you raise it again.

No basically CLUB MODE was the only way to unlock songs, you play it first on BEGINNER (not basic), and every several measures (I forgot), TRICK (basically a gimmick) is activated (starts on Lv. 1, the more you play that song on CLUB MODE, TRICK LEVEL may increase and harder gimmicks appear) OR the difficulty rises a level.
