This might've been our closest match yet but Joker scrapes out a win, leaving Size of a Cow behind in second. Life's not what it thought it was...

The knockout round starts tomorrow! After this match it'll be one on one and each person gives 1 song 1 point. Simple.

I can't stand half of the songs here and I can't stand any of the charts here either, but Usatei is the one that sickens me the most. CHAOS has interesting concepts for its charts having high Chaos ratings on the groove radar, but overusing non-red note syndrome just ruins it for me. I much would rather have ANTI ANTHEM's stutter gimmicks as they can give a much higher Chaos rating without relying on non-red note syndrome.

I am tempted to just call the old bag what it is today because I'm still a little hurt that they decided to have this old chart take the slot instead of making a new chart that could have been an improvement over the original. The misquantization in EXTREME~SN2 was due to a genuine engine limitation, but they really had to revive what was broken just to pay homage, huh.

Imagine quantizing rhythms using a flawed engine, while at the same time, having other games, using the same hardware at the time (System 573), having much more flexible timing mechanics (IIDX, pop'n, GFDM, etc). Also imagine not having it fixed until nearly 6 years later.
