[SM 5.1-new / OutFox LTS and Alpha V] DDR A3 Theme

This has been brought up before. This isn’t a 16:10 theme, that’s why this happens. You need to use 16:9, which will have letter boxing on a 16:10 monitor (it does this on my Steam Deck) but that’s just how this theme is. If you want 16:10 support I would recommend Simply Love.

As for suggestions, I would love to see expanded speed mod support as a toggle in the theme options so people who only want arcade speed mods can still have that. It’s honestly my only “complaint” about this theme and considering the goal was to make it look like the arcade game it’s hard to even really consider that a complaint. You guys have done a great job.

Lamps show up even when there is not a full combo. Also and suggestion I would add is when a song ends the screen filter should disappear.

there's different kind of lamp that appears even when it isn't a FC, if you mean anything else please elaborate or at least send us a picture here so we can understand what is happening, and about the screen filter, as far as i know, it works just fine and it disappears when the song ends.

I mean it is like a good full combo lamp that shows up. I got one miss to a song and it still registered as a GFC. The screen filters don't disappear on my end. Guess it is an issue with my computer.

You probably have a Good Full Combo on this song. Your lamp is tied to your best combo, separate from your high score. So if you GFC a song then later on do better like say going from AA- to AA+ but have 1 miss you keep your lamp and your score/grade updates. This is how arcade DDR and Grand Prix both work as well.

I switched over to SM 5.1 and this new version of the theme, and it looks great. Some things that weren't working for me with the old version are perfect now. But I also have a new, albeit small, issue with mine. I seem to be getting a redundant instance of the "Here We Go" splash text at the beginning of a song. It pops up as soon as the screen transitions, while the jacket art is lingering on the screen. You can see it pop up behind the jacket. The Jacket will then linger until the notes are about to start, then disappear and I'll get the proper sequence of Ready > Here We Go. So it's just this single, redundant instance of the splash text at the very beginning of the song.

Known issue? Any quick fixes I can apply? thx

Are you using 5.1 from stepmania.com or 5.1-new from github? You need the later, the easiest way to get it is ITGmania which is forked from this version.

I recently noticed group.ini files aren't working for my folders anymore. I was using these to have custom names for the folders while keeping a specific order. Any chance of these working again in a future update?

Changelog:

- Fixed a specific bug with Clear and Failed lamps animation.
- Removed animated background on the StageInformation screen to better match te current AC one.
- Reverted back to old SongEnding system because the new one was causing some problems.
- Added back group.ini support on Groups and Songs

A suggestion for the theme: If possible, you should add OK judgments to the mines/shock arrows.

Another suggestion I actually had in mind: Long Version and Marathon song markers on the music select screen. It always comes in handy to know which songs are marked as Long Version (2:30~4:59) or Marathon (5:00+) songs (e.g. Xmixes, HOTTEST PARTY megamixes, some of the 5thMIX songs).

The newer version of this theme using different ddr_groove_actor.lua which I can't apply ddr_groove_data.lua from sm5.0 builds that organized by myself, is there any solution that can make it works again?
