Well I guess you're right, it's better than nothing, though the announcer doesn't bring an arcade feel to me, and also we'll hear the full combo splash at the end even if we don't get one, which will be funny!

Same goes for Pierce the Sky, the steps come a bit early, but it takes a second to fix in the editor so I made it myself! ;)
Also, if anyone's interested in doubles steps, I might step them tomorrow if can get some free time! Well at least for Pierce the Sky, 'cause I don't remember having seen a video of Sakura Sunrise Expert-D

But it sounds like a small adjustment to the offest value should fix it up better.

Well.. Silverdragon made custom BGs from Sakura Sunrise and Pierce The Sky, i just cut some parts of the BG and i made my proper banner

With MSPaint text for the artist name 
I did something similar myself.
It's pretty easy to cut out a 512x160 section of the bg and then cut the dimensions in half.
