Is it me, or has it always managed to rain on every single Halloween that has happened in Washington?

Aside from that, the one Halloween song I like is the Monster Mash. No joke.

My favourite one not intended for it but at least in the theme is probably Evil Eye by Franz Ferdinand, mostly because the video's wonderful B-movie kitsch.

Today me and the class watched 2 episodes of "Stranger Things." I really enjoyed watching it. I would recommend watching it with friends or alone (if you dare).

Last night, I had a rather strange BEMANI-themed dream. It was one of the strangest BEMANI dreams I've ever had, rivaling that one I had when I first joined about the distorted version of Reflec Beat. (Wow, it's November 1st...26 days until my 1-year anniversary of being here. Time sure does fly... ) Now, this dream was especially strange because in it, Sound Voltex seemed more like IIDX and YouTube seemed more like DeviantArt.

So, the dream just started with me, sitting on my bed, using my iPad like any other day. You know how, around Christmas and Easter, there's someone dressed as Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny at the mall for the sole purpose of having kids sit on their laps to have their parents take pictures of them with the costumed character? Well, I was looking at a picture on my iPad of a kid sitting on the lap of somebody in an Alt 2.0 (Linear Locomotive Love/Airport Shuttle design) costume. The kid looked to be around 6 or 7 years old, and had blonde hair done in low pigtails with a hat that looked like Alt 2.0's router. She wore a dress like Alt 2.0's, but she didn't have gloves and was barefoot. After giving the picture a good look, I just decided to go to RemyWiki. Now, in this dream, Sound Voltex IV Heavenly Haven had come out already and was in full swing. The funny thing was, in this dream, Sound Voltex songs were now given videos, played on a small monitor on-screen above the lanes for the notes (hence why I say SDVX was more like IIDX here). So, imagine my surprise when I found out 0/1 Angel had its crossover into SDVX! (This would make it the first song sung by Alt in the entire Sound Voltex series, which, along with MUSECA, is the only active BEMANI series without an Alt-sung song.)

I went to YouTube to go see a video of 0/1 Angel in SDVX for myself, but was less than happy when the first video that I clicked on of its gameplay was blocked by a strange, DeviantArt-like "Mature Content Filter" that YouTube had in the dream. I tried clicking on other videos, but all of them were blocked too. I wondered, "Why, KONMAI?! Why would you ruin my absolute favorite BEMANI song with a video containing something YouTube thinks is inappropriate?!". Then, I got a skype call (on my phone) from this British girl I knew named Caitlin (who doesn't exist in real life). She was going to show me the 0/1 Angel music video, as she had downloaded it to her computer (preventing the filter from blocking it. Why didn't my dream self think of that? ). She was calling from her phone, too.

The video was quite odd. It was animated, but it was in sepia and the characters were drawn in just brown outlines with some colors filled in. Alt wasn't even in the video - the video seemed to focus around a football team (dressed in white and blue and somewhat resembling the New York Giants) and these girls with red lipstick. I didn't even see the whole thing, because Caitlin turned her phone camera away from the video during all the parts with "mature content". That upset me, because I didn't care about the mature content. All I cared about was seeing the 0/1 Angel video in its entirety.

Then, I just checked my DeviantArt, and this one Alt drawing I did got around 70 comments, including one from a guy who didn't even know how to submit art and was asking me for help, when there is a button that says "SUBMIT" right in front of your face on DA.

I woke up from the dream feeling sad the adorable Alt 2.0/kid photo was just a dream, feeling grateful SDVX doesn't have videos and YouTube doesn't have a DeviantArt-like filter, WANTING 0/1 Angel to have its crossover into SDVX...and still having PAPAYAPA BASS from IIDX SINOBUZ stuck in my head.

What pisses me off about it is as soon as it AT LAST got some momentum and was getting some good games behind it, they drop it. I honestly feel sorry for people who bought a Wii U within the last year. And guess what, each one of them want nothing to do with the Nintendo Switch. They pissed a lot of people off with this system. It's a shame because it's not a bad system at all, it was just poorly marketed and it's features were badly executed. The Wii U did not fail, Nintendo did.

I don't want anything to do with Nintendo unless they make Fzero GX2 for the Switch and it is good.

I honestly thought the Wii U thing was just a rumor and that it's not happening. yet I've been looking forward to get one if my family and I have the time to afford it. (and if they don't discourage me just because we already have a PS4)

Imagine if F-Zero wasn't a dead franchise forever lost to time, only played by speedrunners and masochists, and that there was any realistic chance of a new release coming out in the next 100 years? That would be neat.
