Yeah, I think the arrow speed thing is him changing speed mods but the arrows start too quickly and he got thrown off. He was playing Sakura Sunrise on a fairly high speed, and he probably knew Valkyrie dimension speeds up a lot, so he wanted to take it down.

Actually, it does have it own BGA. Look at the TVs on that stage, they are showing a custom video on them. And it's not just Valkyrie Dimension, many other songs have actual scripted videos playing on those screens. Poseidon (kors k mix), WHITE ROSE, KIMONO PRINCESS, Sakura Sunrise, KISS KISS KISS -Akiba Koubou Mix-, and POSSESSION also have similar scripted videos. The difference is that the latter's scripted videos are random videos from MAX-EXTREME era with a few brand new videos thrown in, while Valkyrie Dimension appears to have a full-fledged video. Hopefully we can rip these videos if we get our hands on the hard drive!

I still expect some surprise with the BGA maybe ypu can unlock them like some challenge charts :3, that would be great.

They might be clear audio, but with the announcer, I wouldn't use them for simfiles... Though it's pretty nice to hear some songs clearly after all!

We used to use audio that we got from someone just taking a video of the machine, so you would hear the players stepping on the pad and background noise, not to mention the announcer. I think line-outs will be quite fine for now

i remember playing old ITG2 sims back in the day that were cut from videos like that, and i think we even had some SN2 sims done this way. oh man that brings back memories
