The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

Haven't posted accomplishments in a while. I should start again, it might motivate me more.

Here's a good one to start with.

Here's my video of passing Horatio, no bar, and getting a B. Yay!

I managed to beat Mei, Anti-Matter, and Possession, all on Expert, on a semi-broken pad. The down arrow would get stuck fairly frequently and render about half of the steps on it moot. Apparently, Dave & Buster's isn't terribly keen on keeping the things up to snuff.

I didn't even think I could beat them on a perfect pad going into it, I'm pretty proud of myself.

After 14 agonizing years I've finally FC'd Konamix... and 4th Mix. I went and finished A'ing that game too after I finally figured out how to play Leading Cyber.

After not playing for 9 months, I played MAX 300 expert on a DDR EXTREME machine and got a B

I have added a AA for Healing Vision Angelic Mix Heavy.



That gives me 8 Cata AA's.

@Bemani Dog: HVAM is a hard one to get, nice job!

I stopped into my local arcade earlier and the machine was actually audible for once. Didn't get anything too noteworthy except for this.

I got a C on Trip Machine Climax on DDRGB3 with the little plastic piece of nonsense that clips on the front of the Game Boy Color.

Also I tracked down DDRGB3 on ebay.

The MA sucks, but not focusing on Marvelous probably helped me get the FC. It worked that way when I PFC'd Gorgeous 2012.

I'm a little confused as to how you have almost as many PFC's as you have AA'ed old school 9s. I was A'ing 10s on Extreme when I got my first AAA lol.

Confuses me too. Then again, it took me years to get some AAA's on 8-footers.

This is still one of my all-time favorite songs on DDR. I always get so nostalgic when I listen to it...Only took two tries. lol


Only took like two tries but it's still a pretty difficult chart to PFC on. It was fun though (also sorry I forgot to show the results. I forgot in 2014 you need to press the right button to show it.)

Now these last two aren't AAA's but I was pretty happy with the scores (especially JOMANDA).

I can definitely FC this. I was just so exhausted that day. lol


Good lord this song was draining. My fat thighs could barley keep up. I'm surprised I even had a new personal record. My next goal is to get a AA. (again, sorry for the results)

PFCed Healing Vision on a really bad EXTREME, also got two greats on Saint Goes Marching and nine greats on PARANOiA Survivor.

Last week, I also found out that school shoes don't work with DDR when I managed to somehow get a A on AM-3P.

I closed 2014 with a AA on Xepher Heavy. That one took me six tries.

And before that, it took me seven tries (my first seven times playing it) to get Dragon Blade Heavy. And that one I got by the skin of my teeth.

I do find it odd that counting Singles Heavy/Challenge on my score tracker page gives me 202 right now, but the widget only says 199. Can't help but wonder why.

And I open my 2015 account with a totally shocking FC AA, Sumidagawa Karenka Heavy.



I saw some others play it, and figured it wasn't too hard for a 12. I wasn't expecting to get SDG on a song with nearly 500 steps to it the very first time I played it.

Also got reminded that the screen at Chewy Boba Full Sail doesn't cooperate very well with still picture-taking.

Hmmm... Seems nobody has gotten around to posting things. I've seen MFC's like crazy. Nobody wants to share here?

I'll just leave this here. PFC #8, Trip Machine Heavy. WhirlyDome Orlando. That I got it despite its balky-as-Hell up and down arrows is a miracle.



BTW: To answer a few questions about how I have so many PFC's despite not having very high AA's...

1) I'm still fighting to get better in shape. It's easier for me to get accuracy than speed.

2) I'm roughly twice the age of DDRPhoenix, who I estimate to be comparable to my size based on what he's said on that subject in regards to himself, which puts me at a disadvantage.
